Ha, good to see new chapters :) I wonder if Amber's mom was depressed? She was so mean to leave like that though, without trying to work anything out. It is interesting to read about Amber as a nipper and to see the relationship between her and her dad.August 9th, 2014 at 02:10pm

@ Katie Mosing
I loved your comment. So in depth and so nice. But, uh. Jung Hana is actually a girl. Her name is Korean, so the family name comes first. Her American name would be Hana Jung. She is a she.
This is a part from the prologue: "After a nice, hot shower, Hana washed her face and dried her hair. “Let’s do this,” she said to herself as she looked at her reflection. She went in her room and made her bed, the first time it had been made since she had been punished. She refused to let the maids, or really anyone, for that matter, come in her room. " I've referred to Hana as "she" many times in the prologue.
I'm not trying to be mean (in fact you had me worried that I slipped up and didn't tell her gender or accidentally wrote "he" instead of "she"), but I felt that I needed to point it out. I mean, I want to know what it was that made you confused. I need to know so I can fix it right away!
The only thing I can think of was my layout. I'm assuming (and I may be wrong) that you thought the pic on my banner was Amber and the pic in the background was of Hana. Well...it's actually the opposite. The pic of the girl in the banner is Hana. And the girl in the background is Amber. Maybe you mistook the pic of Amber to be a pic of a guy??? If so, don't worry, alot of people in real life mistake her for a guy, but she just has short hair and baggy clothes.
Or maybe you were confused b/c I refer to Hana (when I mention her full name) as Jung Hana, and Jung (Hana's family name...or as we would call it, last name) can actually be used as a Male first name.
I'm not sure, but I'm thinking those were the two reasons you might have been confused. But, PLEASE, let me know what in the story made you think she was male because if it's an error on my part I DESPERATELY want to fix it.
Thank you so much for commenting and reading.July 9th, 2014 at 05:59am -
Wow, this is such an interesting concept for an AU. I've never really seen anything with fairies like this, so that caught my eye right off of the bat.
Delia seems absolutely horrible right off the bat. I hate the way she pushes Amber around and tries to make her feel like she's nothing. It's absolutely cruel.
I can't believe that Delia blames Amber for the car accident - it's obviously Delia's fault for drinking and driving. So wrong.
I think Amber's character is absolutely adorable. I love how she is so sweet and gentle, even though she is treated horribly. Her stepmother hasn't changed her outlook on life, and I like that she is still trying to stay strong even when times are hard.
Jung Hana is just adorable too. I think his clumsiness is such a cute trait, and I love his curiosity and how he is always interested in learning more, especially more about the humans. His interest is endearing, and it makes it seem like he could be the one to truly care about Amber and her well being.
I think this story is absolutely wonderful so far. Jung Hana and Amber's characters are going to make for an interesting pair, and that's something I love to see in stories. This story has many elements to it with Jung Hana's love for humans, Amber's evil step mother and Jung Hana and Amber's blossoming romance. It all makes for a fantastic story!July 9th, 2014 at 12:46am -
The bullies were horrible, I really can't stand bullies :( I reckon that Max is a really nice friend to Amber though :)July 7th, 2014 at 03:13pm

Yeah, her stepmom is mean, but her character will be explored more in the sequels. Thanks for reading, dear.

Owch, sorry I fell so far behind :O I hadn't been on for a few days. I'm really enjoying the story though :) Poor Amber, she seems to have a lot of crap to have to deal with :( It was funny when she said "Jerk Day" xD I don't like her stepmom, she's a b**** :PJuly 1st, 2014 at 11:01pm

Yeah, I am gonna explore this topic, actually, but it'll probably happen in one of the sequels. Thanks.June 30th, 2014 at 05:02am -
The interaction between Amber and the old man made me happy. It was very sweet.
I found it really interesting that you mentioned that Delia thought what it'd be like if her and Amber actually got along. I think that's something that'd be interesting to explore since we don't really know what Delia thinks beside from how she treats Amber and what Amber tells the reader.June 30th, 2014 at 04:53am -
