I really like how this didn’t open with Kassia automatically being in the arms of Jax Teller, which is how so many SOA fanfics seem to start out. Tommy seems to be interesting, and I would love to see more development of his character. (I’m only at chapter three as I write this.) I also think you got the attitudes of all the boys down pat, too. It’s good to see some excellent writing for this fandom, SOA is one of my favorite shows and I’m always looking for well-written stories about the guys!
I'm glad nothing happened between Happy and Kas. She is going through a lot of different emotions. She's scared of facing them but I doubt Jax is going to give up. What he said was wrong but he see's the potential she has. Hopefully they can work it out. They both have to figure out what they want.
Huge Sons fan since the beginning, there aren't many SOA stories on here. Loving this story so far! Reading the chapter about her family made me cry so hard, I recently lost my father to an accident. Keep up the good work, can't wait to read more! Btw really like how you threw Hap in there, I would have thought maybe juice, but I love it! ((:
On the road again. She finally opens up only to leave. Jax is not a happy biker. Jax should call Happy and tell him to drop her off somewhere. Jax should then pop up. She would probably try to run but it gives Jax some time. She's afraid to love and afraid to let someone love her. I understand though. Loving someone allows there to be an opportunity to get hurt. She doesn't want to hurt so she won't love.
I'm a huge fan of Sons of Anarchy and Jax is my favorite male character from the show. There are not many Jax Teller stories and I've recently encountered this one. I liked Kassia from the start because she seemed not only a strong woman but also very mysterious. Introducing her as a drifter and meeting bikers and allowing herself to ride with them at the beginning of the story made her personality fierce which I really like. It makes the plot and the story different from other stories.
I feel bad for Kassia because she has gone through a lot even though she is young. Losing her fiance, her daughter and her parents the same night was just so tragic and sad.
I liked the way you managed to escalate the chapters by having some of them in Kassia's present while the next ones were based on her past. It gave a good insight of her past and the reason why she was the person she is now. I like Tommy's character and somehow I wished he could come back and maybe stir some little drama between Jax and her. I love me some drama.
You have a great writing style and that is shown in the way you described with detail what they are feeling and what is happening around. I can't wait to see where this goes. Hopefully you update soon. Great story!
Sorry I haven't been able to comment! I've been out of town. But oh my gosh, this has been soooooooo good! I'm so proud of Kassia! Can't wait to see more of them. And I know how it feels to lose someone. My best friends brother died a couple years ago. He was walking and was clipped by an eighteen wheeler. He was only 15. It's sad how these things happen.
So happy she shared her life story with Jax. He needed to know in order for him to understand her, the way she acts, and behaves the way she does. She also spoke the truth about Jax's relationship with Tara. If you don't love her let her go. I like this side of Kassia. I like when she can be wild and free but I love when she is her true self.
So I shed some tears reading this. So tragic how they died. As soon as I read "My family is dead" I felt as though that was where the emotional change in her started. That was the catalyst for her transformation. This chapter really showed why she does and says what she wants.
Sorry about the last review. Accidentally hit the submit button too many times. Kassia needs to be careful not to interfere or pry into their business. She has to remember she is a guest. Then again Kassia doesn't strike me as someone who cares what people think about her. Jax has a battle he needs to be careful fighting in. He's with Tara. I think he realizes how dangerously intriguing Kassia is and is conflicted. If Kassia wants to learn more about the club and their activities she needs to open up about herself. Give and take.
