I'm here judging the drabble section of my pre-write contest! Cute

I have to agree with rainbebez.tears., I don't think I've ever read something this short! Despite the length, this really does come across and give the reader an insight into the narrator's mind. I always wonder whether other people think in fully formed and beautifully decorated sentences, but this is how I imagine people think -- it's simple, personal and filled with emotion. And judging by what I think the narrator is talking about, it works and it does so in a bittersweet and heart-wrenching way.

I'm absolutely astounded that you manage to bring across so much in such a short space of time. I know I definitely wouldn't be able to do the same myself so major kudos to you for doing so. Incredible work!

Wow, as short stories come, this is the shortest one I have read. And it is definitely one of my favorites!

Count me impressed; I have always been a sucker for the simple yet striking pieces, whether it be stories or poems but this seems to be in a league of its own. You delivered this sort of reflective sadness and calm in just 37 words!! Yes, there were no fancy details, and there were no names or definitive characters. But it was this vague-by-design format that really struck hard. I feel like you were able to convey a whole lot of emotion in these 37 words than most people can in 37 pages. It truly is impressive and beautifully written.
It makes me wonder though...what does 301 Days Later reflect? Obviously I have my guesses, but in a good way it keeps me wondering what exactly happened 301 Days ago...hmm, goodness I want to know!
I think this is great as a short story as it is, but I feel like it can also be a great chaptered story.

Other notes, I absolutely love the layout. What can I say, I love simplicity and everything about this piece is perfect. You have my recommendation!

Well done!! I thoroughly enjoyed this! Thank you for sharing!!
