Yeah I get that too; Kellin's character is a really complicated one and it's been interesting developing him and sort of revealing his motives and struggles etc. But yeah this has pretty much all been planned since the beginning, and the ending I have planned was actually one of the first things I came up with, so that'll be interesting to finally write. But until then I think pretty much the entire rest of this thing is gonna be a bit of an emotional roller coaster haha

Ahh yeah I tried to be as non-spoilery as possible lmao but you're welcome!! I totally get you; I remember somewhere around this particular point of the story (around chapters 21-26 ish) I was just thinking to myself while writing "omg this is gonna be so frustrating everyone's gonna hate me but it will MAKE MORE SENSE LATER" so that's perfectly understandable haha

I want to read the whole thing but I'm afraid of spoilers... So I'm just going to say thank you for the response and explanation, haha. Like I said, I'm not on the lastly updated chapter but I just HAD to get out the frustrations, you know...the feels!

Oli isn't a part of the strip club; there's an entirely different deal going on that is gradually explained/revealed (at the very end there will be a more detailed explanation for sure). Oli has no business with any other strippers - not Gerard, not Dan, nobody else - it's just that Kellin and Jaime have both been involved in something a bit different with Oli in their past that sticks with them even now. The strip club has nothing to do with it. Part of the reason both Kellin and Jaime started was because they enjoyed it. And they're afraid. Even Vic's afraid. As is stated in later chapters, too, Oli isn't even really the ringleader here; he just does a lot of the dirty work. Like I said, there will be a much more in-depth explanation at the very end.

I have to keep reading to get to the most recent chapter (only being on 22...) but I NEED to get this out! Why does Oli and them own all the strippers, like now Jaime too, you become a stripper and they automatically own you 'cause that's not how strip clubs work?? How come Oli and his crew own them in the first place, especially when they're frigging high school students, really! What does he have on Jaime and why is Jaime stripping in the first place...it's called a part time job? I don't know how they're all just letting this happen at this point...if I was Vic, I woulda beat the shit out of them already especially Oli 'cause I'm freaking out in anger and want to just reading it!
