It's so sad to hear about her friends. Things like that happen a lot and it's always tragic when it ends like that. I'm glad they have each other and that she's trying to be healthier :)

This is wonderful so far. I like the detail. Like, seemingly unimportant detail but it's making this really, really nice to read.

I'm wondering what happened to Lilah? Who was she? Did Birdie do something? And not much has been said about Gerard and what he's all about... Interesting. :)

Definitely, I think it was a good decision to wait a bit until you reveal more of her past. That way we can see her bond with Gerard grow before they start to open up. It keeps us on our toes :)

I wanted to put some of Bird's past in this chapter, but i thought it is too soon :( but I'm thinking maybe it will come up sooner or later
