Yeah, that's the problem with feelings! They're too complicated, and when you involve pride, prior bad experiences and stubbornness...then you get Brian in this story haha. Plus, they're eighteen. I don't really remember being eighteen, but I can imagine I wasn't always rational and level headed!

I understand him being hurt and needing time, but punishing Matt at all or making him apologize at all is what blew my mind. Then again, it happens all the time in real life and fiction and it drives me nuts, but people are ridiculous, I guess. lmao

I agree, Brian does deserve the heartbreak that has come with the knowledge that Matt didn't wait by the phone for him to get over his drama. But at the same time, I think I would be hurt if I was Brian in the situation, whether it was justified or not. I guess that's how feelings work.

Brian was the douche in the scenario, of course. At first his reaction was acceptable, but he punished Matt severely. I'm glad that Matt got to one up by fooling around with Jimmy!

Currently I ship Matt/Jimmy in this story more than Brian/Matt, 'cause Brian's being ridiculous.

I never did understand someone feeling hurt when after they dump someone, the person that was dumped has a sexual encounter of some kind with someone else. Like, this isn't even a Ross and Rachel 'on a break' deal. They were over. Brian wasn't even speaking to Matt anymore. So to make Matt repeatedly apologize when he did literally nothing wrong at that point just drives me nuts. I also just wish he had actually gone all the way with Jimmy.

I think it needs it I want to know how brian and matts lives are now that they are back together. I mean it does work without one but I just can't get enough of those two and Papa Gates is so funny in this story and Im glad they are back together

Kim's reaction is exactly like mine was mentally. Holy fuck, I'm so beyond happy that they're together again! Matt's so cheesy, oh my gosh. And I'm glad Brian made up with him and forgave him, to an extent. Brian Snr's affection really shocked me though, but it pleases me to no end. Suzy is amazing.

All the time they were apart they've couldve been having amazing sex but nooooo Bri had to be a weenie and not forgive Matty. They finally get back together and it ends!! Ugh Brian you asshole!!
