Your summary is the most chilling thing ever. I love that this one line can send a shiver down your readers’ back in a second. The layout gives a nice eerie feeling to that, as well.

I thought this was such an interesting piece. I liked the whole idea of really getting to know someone only when they’re gone. It’s such a sad idea but it’s true. I think the way you as an author conveyed this idea because was very smooth and effortless.

This line, “...dutifully keeping lost souls alive or empowered,” stuck to me. It was like this one line perfectly summed up the whole idea of this story. I love that it hits your readers at a soft spot.

Patrick had already been deaf to the world,” this line, man, I felt like this could’ve meant so much, y’know? You made it seem like there’s an underlying meaning and that itself was just majestic.

Okay. I hate the entire twist. BECAUSE PAT WAS DOING A GOOD DEED and basically it came back and no one can do what he tried to do to those people. It made me so so sad.

With that being said, your writing was very entertaining. At first I didn’t even think that he would die. I thought he’d run. Your writing gave me hope.

I liked your writing style because it was simple and not too difficult to read – it was straight to the point. Readers are able to fully understand what is happening without too much information being spoiled. I truly enjoyed the whole plot. I did wish there were more chapters. Lovely piece for sure!
