Same!!!! I was getting on here every 6 months ish, although now I check every few days so that I can continue posting here (while that's still a function that works). Same! I just wanted to see if this place was even alive, if anyone was posting, if anyone was still in this particular fandom, but as you said, everything is totally broken. All the forumn posts are overrun with spam too. I doubt there is any saving this site, but I hope they keep it up, even if it stops working :(

Same here! If you drop your Ao3 handle, I'll follow you! I have been posting there as well, in case mibba finally sinks. There seems to be a few scragglers still there in the fandom. RIGHT LMAO?? Wattpad is really just..... there seems to only be a hand full of stories there that I actually want to read anymore. A lot of it is so silly. And wattpad itself is ridiculous with how money-driven it is.

OMFG DUDE! I was JUST looking at Sullen-Riot on the wayback machine a couple weeks ago! I LOVED that place so much and it has such an amazing archive going soooo far back. It makes me sad that it's gone. ketturtonfan is still up, which is the website that hosted Sullen-Riot, but nothing from sullen-riot is accessible anymore.

ugh I know, I feel like the fandom is shrinking which is unfortunate. I haven’t really been on Mibba in so long, and at least on my end I feel like the whole site is kinda drying up. I was just trying to use the search function to see what kinda recent activity there might be for fandoms I like and reminisce, but it literally just wasn’t working at all

I actually really like Ao3, but less Green Day stuff going on. Wattpad…. Bro I can’t. I use to read through all the trashy stuff there like a guilty pleasure but revisited recently and the ads are insane. Half of those stories have like 500 word chapters and the fact that’s it’s like $50+ to get rid of ads is insane.

Idk if you knew about remember/knew about the old fansite Sullen-Riot that used to have sooo much fanfic on it and forum discussions. I was so so sad when it shut down suddenly.

Sorry to rant, I just haven’t interacted with someone in the fandom in so long and I feel like you’d understand my mad ravings lol

Just got around to reading your updates, will definitely be sticking around for the rest It’s definitely real hard to find some actually good fanfic for Green Day these days so it’s always a treat to see something that feels like a blast from the past!

I haven't logged on here in so long and have been thinking a lot about this story lately and wanting to bring it back. I have 120 pages of it pre-written for future chapters annnnd have a sequel planned. It's really just missing the 2 chapters between now and the rest. I will work on getting those written. I hope I can get out a chapter this week! Thank you for giving me the drive to do just that, even if it's 6 months late :) It means a lot to me that people are still interested! I hold shit story dear to me heart.

I’ve just reread this now, even though it was posted years ago. I really hope you update because I absolutely love everything about this. The characters are all really well written so far, and I really love the main character.

Loved seeing that you updated! I can't wait to read more! I scrolled down below to read my comment from like, two years ago and I of course and definitely still stand by all of that. I love the way you write and everything is so smooth. While I was scrolling through past comments, I just read yours about getting into a relationship and not really wanting to write anymore. And it was so nice to read that because the same exact thing happened to me!!! I met my current boyfriend and had no desire to write about romance or falling in love anymore because I was actually living it. It's been almost 3 years now and I want to start writing again so badly! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I definitely feel what you're feeling and please please update soon! As before, us Billie writers need to stick together.

To anyone coming here, I will be updating this story very very soon. I wanna try to get in an update tonight, though it's unlikely.
November 27-30th I will be on set acting in a movie that I am the lead actress in, after that I will be free to usher in some updates, so keep on the lookout.
I really love this story and had/have so many ideas for it. The only reason I ever stopped is because I got in a relationship around the same time and I don't know about you guys, but finding the love of my life made me not wanna write about any kind of romance unless it was poems and songs about him. So, I just didn't really wanna write about Billie Joe and Roselain lmao.
However, it's been almost two years with him so I'm finally on a normal level of infatuation, which means I'm ready to start writing again.

Expect updates!!!
My new years resolution is to stay on top of writing again.
