This was awesome. I started reading because I was curious about how on earth a Mike Babcock story would work, and I got sucked in right away. I loved how everyone was complicated and a bit contradictory - it felt real. And "brighter since he'd come around" got me good.

My new favorite story!

Love how protective Sid is. He's angry but can put it aside to be there for Viv.

So much information in both chapters. Mike deserved what he got from Sid. Viv has a point about moving past this at sometime!!!! Really glad Sid and Viv are spending so much time together.

Love that Sidney got his anger in check to be there for Viv. She was simply shattered.

You are doing such a great job of writing the dichotomy of people that are essentially good doing bad things. It is so hard not to feel sympathy for Viv even though what she was doing was so wrong - can't wait to see how things develop!

The way you write has me completely torn between Mike and Sid.. which is powerful considering how bias I am :)
