At first I was team Dmitri, wanting Cara to only have him but then Freddy came about and I have to say I was hoping they would have had a little romp. I just hope that isn't the last we see of him. Xavier has me on pins and needles also.

Haha you made me change the zoom settings of my browser just to read that small text between the lines! Don't we all fall for the bad guys? The devils in Armani so to speak? There has always been something about the guys your parents warned you about. The ones you should not get with haha. Dmitri is just one of them, but I fear he is not the most dangerous of our players.

Hi there. I am commenting from the story comment swap thread.

Firstly, the layout is gorgeous! I think it sets the overall mood very well.
The summary drew me in. It gives enough detail without giving away the whole story straight off the bat.

Chapter 1: The description is so vivid. I can imagine exactly what you're describing. I love how deranged Cara seems, how she embraces the very essence of fire and seems as if she is one with the element; a girl born of flames. (Or the girl on fire. Sorry, I had too. I apologize. Back to business.)
I'm curious to find out what Malory's plan is and what Dmitri did. You certainly know how to make a story interesting. Wonderful first chapter. I just might have to come back for more.
Also, I just have to say I love this sentence - He looked as good as the devil in a suit.
I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm a sucker for men being described as the devil.

Thank you! I'm glad we're leaving readers wanting more from Cara. You might have hit the nail on the he's with Malory, but she has her reasons. I hope you come back for more of the story when you get a chance.

Your layout is nicely done - very simple but with graphics that match your story. It might just be me, but the summary seemed a bit of a sensory overload. This is also random, but your chapter titles are missing from the actual chapter - I'm not sure if you meant it that way or not so I thought I'd let you guys know!

THE FIRST ACT: Your characters start out very interesting - especially Dmitri. Pointy teeth, eyes that can achieve control over someone. It's also interesting that Cara is of fire. She's written so well. And Malory is definitely something. I'm not sure what to make of her, but the end of this chapter definitely makes room for readers to want more.

THE PUPPETEER: I like Cara. Good on her for speaking her mind. Malory seems like a bit of a bitch, but maybe I just need to see more of her character. I really like this so far and the way the thought patterns of the characters are revealed - it makes me feel like I get to know each one of them. The relationship between these three is definitely strange, but very well at keeping things mixed up.

You should never apologize while commenting. To be honest you have made me a very happy girl today while reading your comment and it was something I very much needed.

So, I finally got to read the rest of the story. Or at least what you have up. It's just as hot and spicy as I remember . Not going to lie, though he's not usually a man of my taste, Dmitri is pretty sexy. I loved her encounter with Freddy and he's pretty cute too. But.... Xavier mmm...mmm..mmm... This is a beautifully written story and I'm not sure why it's not getting the attention it deserves. I do apologize for taking so long to get back to it. I got so excited with updating and starting my own new stories. I will be back!

I'm glad you are enjoying this carnival ride because its going to get more twisty with every turn! we are even at the last chapters (writing-wise) so the updates will be frequent and in an abundance haha. Thanks for commenting, you know it means the world to me. It was so much fun writing this story but you make it so much more fun now we can share it and hear what you have to say about it!

So the plot thickens...Malory shouldn't have given in to her old desires, but on the other hand, no, Cara has zero right to be jealous. I just love the twists and turns. I'm totally enjoying this carnival ride!

I just seriously want to know what you guys think of Malory. (Yes, I'm being a little selfish! Sorry, @ Alex Moore.) Everyone loves Cara, but she's sweet and loveable when she's not fiesty (fiesty only adds to her lovableness though). Mal is...well, I embodied Malory for a while there.

Also, as a side note, Leanne, we totally have to put the word 'sexy' somewhere in our tags for this story :) I love it!

That trailer took me a few years off my life haha. But yeah I'm kinda proud of it too. I am currently superbusy with internship but maybe one day I can make you one, just cant say when haha.

Better late than never right? Haha now I'm curious to what you were expecting really haha. I never write real smut, but I do have the occasional sex scene and this is a very sexy, lustful story, but I promise you it will go beyond the hormones haha. I'm glad you did read on though! Ohhkk. You caught me at a bad time. This was absolutely not what I was expecting. XD I love the fact that you're such an amazing author, and the story is so detailed you just fall in love with the writing. The beginning of the first chapter... It was sexy. XD But, I'm not someone who is comfortable with reading sex scenes, so well, I skipped most of it. I'll tell you this though. I love Cara. And I love where this is going. It's terrific in a cool kinda awesome way. I know I'm not making sense XD

I love the attention to detail, something I've certainly noticed in everything I've read from Leanne. I'm very excited at the prospect of a truly terrifying clown...I don't like them, anyway. Lol. I can't wait to see how everything unfolds; the set up so far has been superb!
