It's a fanfiction for the television show The 100. Raven Reyes is a canon character: what Earth did to her and what happened to her leg are both major points of the show. Since this is only a oneshot, I didn't feel the need to do an info-dump explaining her whole back-story and summarizing the entire show XD

  • Well first I have to say after reading the story the layout for perfectly. There were some times that the story didn't flow well, but that's mostly because I wear glasses do I had to read over it again, however at the end inexplicably seems like it'd fit more than inexplicable. It's good, but I don't think it should have been a one-shot if that's what it is because I still don't understand what earth did to her or what happened to her leg , but maybe I missed that part and need to read it over again.

Also is this a original or a fan-fiction? Because this reminds me of the 100 and Enders Game for some reason lol

  • @ Alex Moore.

Thanks! This is actually a fanfic for the tv show The 100, and the premise of the show is that after a major nuclear war wiped out the planet, some space stations joined up together to form this society called the Ark, and almost a century after the war, they send 100 juvenile delinquents back down to Earth to see if it's suitable for human life again. So yeah, pretty awesome show.

And this is only a oneshot, but I do have some other oneshots and a chaptered story in the works for this pairing.

  • Hey, this is my comment for the swap:

It starts off amazingly with a very strong summary/prologue. I really really like the cadance in the words and how they seem to flow.

Not even the second line and I am already forming questions about Raven. The ark? What ark? What time is this in, is this maybe biblical. It is nice to have this bit of mystery, it makes me want to read even more.

This concept is great, a girl finding an escape between the starts, even if she does not truly visit them. It is poetic.

Favorite sentence: Being wrapped up in its celestial embrace...

Is this getting a second chapter? because I'd really like to read it. I want to find out what happened, what the ark is where she came from and what society she lives in. It is just so great. I love not understanding all these things she thinks of. I'd love to find out if I can research her past and future.

Thanks for bringing this story to my attention and please continue?

As Post Mortem already mentioned: No rust at all!

  • Hi there! I really didn't get a "rusty" vibe from your writing at all. I thought it was lovely and well detailed. You really painted a picture and I could totally imagine the two of them laying there. I'm curious to see what happens next.
