From all the stories you could pick I am so sorry to tell you picked on that is on hold right now. I currently do not have a cowriter for this story anymore :(

Maybe, if you want to read something of mine that will continue and I can promise will be finished too you might want to read Underestimate me. And I have two two-shots on here. (mal de mere and Carolina I just paint). Another finished and half uploaded story is When the going gets tough.

Oh and in the near future we will start uploading a dark circus story...

So, I gotta admit that I'm not usually into Original Fiction, but the summary to this story really captured my interest and I just had to read on. (Also, this comment may be all over the place; but that's because I'm high on painkillers, so for that, I apologise. )

The prologue is so interesting! Holy moly I really want to know more about the world that this story is set in and I'm so intrigued about Kayden (and Kayden's duties) and Ava, and how did Ava become Subject 4202?

I'm going to read more (and post this comment before I close the tab and forget that it's there ) and I shall report back soon!

I am so sorry this comment is so delayed and it took me so long to read. This chapter was so comical, I loved it! It's hard to capture humor sometimes, I think, but you nailed it. It also had some good plot points I think, aside from the humor.

Drunk Kayden is my favorite, Ava certainly is a little shit, and I love it haha. He's being a Prince Charming even if he isn't really supposed to and I'm curious how his superiors and such will react if they find out. I'm still so intrigued by the overall storyline and I look forward to learning more about this whole government experiment. Wonderful chapter overall, and I promise to try to be less delayed next time!

Favorite line is the last one, since it seems to capture a really good feel and theme: "Then again, I never really signed up at all."

I was wondering, if I may ask; what makes this story beyond your comfort zone?

First things first.

I love this layout. Oh my god, I love the layout. And I love the summary, too. George Orwell is super fantastic, and 1984 is my favorite book. So that hooked me immediately.

Second, this is so beyond my comfort zone of reading. But the way this is written, smooth but still just edgy enough that I can relate, is really refreshing. There aren't a lot of just incredibly original stories on this site - most of the time, if you've read one, you've read about 50 others of the same. But this is just so unique, I can't not be intrigued by it. Not only that, there's something so familiar to me about Ava, it's immediately easy to fall in love with her character.

I'm definitely going to subscribe and rec this, because my oh my, it is brilliant.

This story seems clean, light, airy, and crisp. I'm in love with the theme, both layout wise and in terms of the actual story. It seems like a soft sort of bittersweet story of tender, unrequited affections. And unrequited love is my favorite kind. It is a difficult style of writing, mostly because it's hard to write those types of stories without making the protagonist seem desperate and clingy and needy, but you've managed to write about them both in a way that helps me identify with her well. Your use of words in general are so powerful. Even though the individual chapters aren't very long, you've painted quite the large scale picture of what their relationship is like. Thank you for recommending this to me! This story is adorable, and I'm very excited to see how it goes. (:

Thank you so much! I love it that you like Kayden, but I think he won't be good at his job if girls noticed him too much and wanted to approach him haha. He is cool, but he should stay a shadow mostly.

Great chapter! The bathroom scene was very realistic. Sitting on the toilet, trying to regain some sort of sense about yourself. I almost felt dizzy with her haha. Obviously, there's something driving her rebellion and I'm curious to see her motivation. And a party girl she sure is! Kayden just seems so cool. Like the guy at the parties all the girls want to talk to but he's just too cool to approach. That's how I see him anyway haha. The tequila was perfect, I loved that part. And the kiss? Love that too! Her response was golden! Overall, a wonderful chapter and I can't wait until the next update!

Favorite line is, "The goody-two shoes had had a sip of the devil’s water."
