I love the message and symbology in this! Granted, I did have to read it a couple of times before it sunk in but once it did, I fell in love. I love the use of butterflies, being butterfly children and then just kids. When I read the paragraph about too-thin skin, I imagined a butterfly's wings and I saw the jittering flaps, and wow oh wow, just a few words and I'm almost speechless. This was so, so so so unbelievably wonderful.

I had to read this two or three times before your message got through my thick skull. And may I just say that it is an incredibly powerful message. People spend so much time pointing out how we are different that few take the time to examine how we are all the same, but your story does just that. Everyone has experienced pain and grown from it as a consequence, and using the comparison to butterflies to explore that is brilliant.
