i think @ one point, every child becoming a teenager wanted a dreamcatcher more for the looks than for the actual aspect. i love how you tie in this personal involvement w/ the protagonist & the dreamcatcher - how it's simply a way for remembrance of a deceased grandmother speaking of such intricate words.
