I feel like the world is ending and I didn't feel that way until my eighteenth birthday, but perhaps it started sooner. This made me feel like it started sooner. I love the darkness and the lightness in this, the way the two balance each other out so softly and delicately. There's this excited youth buzzing through all the words, but a darkness in between all the sentences, a shadow weighing in the back and sneaking back up. I don't know if perhaps the world truly is ending or the storm just makes it feel that way, but no matter what, this was so beautiful and balanced and once again, absolute poetry.

I really appreciate the spectrum of emotions that you demonstrate through this drabble; the wondering excitement of enjoying youth through running from the darker things but all the while appreciating life. To examine a year of life as a single, long day is really interesting and a feeling that I can't exactly relate to, but that I can imagine through your work. The only error I noticed is in
    aistriu:
...stretching along like a single improbably long day.
, there should be a comma after "improbably". It's something very small and does not detract from your work much at all.
