Twist at the end! I am very curious of what could happen after this short piece! I do like how simple this was written. I did like the little description of the Joker always being there to wink or flirt with her then going down for his "business," which in the end made me think WHAT IS HIS BUSINESS. why are they kissing??????? You brought so many question roaming in my head, my friend.

@ first when i started reading this i immediately thought about the joker from the batman universe (bc there is a strange attraction to that psychotic man for me wtf) but i guess that really enhanced when: just like in the games, joker is a wild card, or in his case; a wild man this sentence completely did it for me & that's when i felt a wave of thriller/mystery especially since he comes in said café w/ this interest of flirting or winking. but i was thrown for a loop @ the end like my god was that a plot twist???

And as I finish reading this, I think to myself, "WHO ARE YOU?" because I am so fascinated and intrigued by Joker. I wanted to know his story, what this 'business' is with his friends, what his actual name is, and how, over time, the narrator went from disgusted to lustful, wanting more than some flirting and eye winking, coming to like Joker. What did he do to change how she felt about him? God, there's so many places this could go. I'm sorta hoping you grow on it and develop it into a story because I love this that much and I have so many questions!

There's a great sense of mystery in this piece. Like, your character clearly has interacted with/knows this "joker", but doesn't at the same time. It's a very realistic look at the way that some people interact. I would be interested to know if this "joker" is just that, or something more. Fantastic character development in this one!
