Oh NO, you seriously set up every reader for a good, love-filled happy ending and then ripped it away! This was absolutely fantastic. Stories about Lily and James Potter usually aren't my cup of tea, but the way you wrote this made it infinitely interesting. I love that, for readers who aren't fans, this could be taking place at really any school during any decade! The inner thoughts were also a great way to start up the story, I think. You gave all the right details in just a few paragraphs, and then set up an amazing scene full of drama in the next few. You definitely have a talent for writing young adult literature~
