    @ captain solo.
Thanks!! :arms:: Hope you finish it. It's pretty short. I was actually really happy to write a story with a clear end and beginning.

    @ losing control.
I'm really glad you like it!! I tried to think outside the box. I'm pretty new to the competition scene, but I had a really good time with the prompt.
It was hard for me because, I don't really write about falling out of love. I'm a happy ending person too!♡

I actually really love how you decided to use the picture and lyrics to inspire this story. When I gave them, I definitely wasn't expecting a post-apocalyptic story but I really liked that you decided to do this.

I liked the relationship between Cam and Lena. I thought it was neat that you chose to make them two people who decided to survive together instead of knowing each other before the war. It added a really cool dynamic to their relationship and I think it made it more interesting to read, you know? I could see their relationship developing and how it had developed and it was really cool.

The ending MESSED ME UP. I'm a happily ever after kind of person and the whole time I was reading it I was just like NO WAIT YOU LOVE EACH OTHER DON'T FORGET THE PICTURE lmfao

The way that you incorporated the "yes" into the end was great. I'm assuming that wasn't what Lena had in mind when she was imagining saying yes, but you worked it in so well and I really enjoyed it.

    Great job!

Okay, I'm really enjoying this. tehe I was not expecting a post-Apocalyptic story and that was a pleasant surprise because that kind of story is my jam. I also like the way you introduce the characters and pick up after the war that devastated everything instead of starting at the beginning of it, which most stories like this do.

It's great how you have the characters be two people who happened to meet and are trying to survive together instead of being friends or lovers prior to the war. It's an interesting and unique way to go about it. I feel really bad for Cam in the first chapter; seeing his home and the town where he used to live leveled and destroyed like that.

I haven't read all the chapters yet but I think I will continue reading later because I'm very intrigued by this.

    OH. MY. GOD!!

That was fantastic! I don't usually get super into post-war/apocalyptic stuff. Since The Hunger Games/Divergent series came out, nothing else seems any good. But I was hooked from the first word!

Other than a few spelling mistakes, which take absolutely nothing away from how awesome the story is, this was perfect. I love that Cam seems both protective of and annoyed with Lena. Like he's an an inconvenienced older brother, but then... he's not. It was great.

And the end. Ugh! Rip my heart out! I'm wondering if Cillian knew it was her or not, or even if he did, would he have cared? None of them are the same people they were and I think you portrayed that beautifully.

I really liked this. I liked that you didn't really focus on the war itself, but on the aftermath, instead. I think that even though it was just a couple thousand words or so, it still felt like you told a complete story and it felt like if it was something you could continue in with a sequel.

I thought the twist at the end was also a nice touch. Everyone knows that war changes people (especially that kind of apocalyptic war), but to see it so plainly - so see that her own boyfriend/almost-fiance either didn't recognize her or didn't care anymore - that was really interesting.

I was better at making hard decisions, but he was better at making the right ones. - This was probably my favorite line.
