I was so excited when you picked purple. It's a very loved color, and it brings back many memories for me personally and I couldn't wait to see what you came up with.
I loved how sad this was, how it had this certain anonymity about it. Different people could read this and relate to it, whether they've been in the same situation or not. My favorite line of this is It's the color of you trying not to draw too much attention to yourself the next day. It's the simplest line of this whole piece, which is why I liked it so much. At times the word choice comes off as too elaborate, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I think that the part with the first stutter of breathable air. is the perfect mix of of the simple and the complicated.
I wasn't a big fan of the layout, but I appreciate that it matched the piece and you stuck with the purple. All in all, I liked this piece and you did a good job.
