The layout was lovely. Nice and simple, and the banner is gorgeous. My only complaint (if I had to have one) would be the size of the font. I had zoom into 125% in order to read it without having to strain my eyes but honestly, thats a small thing. Now onward to the story! I really like the summary, it pulls you in because of how relatable it is. The lack of dialogue in the first chapter does nothing to take away from the story either because of how well you describe everything. It really gave us a good background on Tilly herself and her beginning with Max. Its realistic how she's kinda having a love-at-first-sight experience with him without all the normal bullshit that follows in some stories (the immediately love he feels, how they're spouting sonnets of forever after two hours, etc). And it gives us a small insight to the struggle that I kinda see them having in the future of the story because of both of their past experiences. Overall, it was a great read for the first chapter and I will definitely have to put aside the time to read the rest of the chapters.
it seems like a good story so far, but why say the male and the female so often instead of him/her or he/she. It reminds me of an animal documentary when I read that. The story line is great, it was just weird reading the male/the female often
