Aww! I'm so happy you enjoyed the story! Yeah the whole story is mostly a flashback. It's flip flopping around in different parts of Noella and Frank's relationship. Then the bourbon and anytime she's in tears is a present chapter. The chapter names let you know what part of the timeline you're reading. :) I think I'm going to start on the second part of this story today. Stay tuned if you like! :)

Noella is so gorgeous! I love the references you got for the characters. When I started reading the first chapter, I fell in love with Noella. She seems so fragile, and normally you don't see that in a first chapter. However, here it works. It really does.

Wait, okay, what happened, why is Noella wanting Burbon holy cow what is going on. Was chapter one just a flashback??

I'm already hooked and it's only chapter 3. Jeez.

I love the way you write, it's so simple yet descriptive. It really pulls me in even more than the story does alone. I'm so glad I came across this story.

Isn't she gorgeous!? I kept staring at the picture like, I love you! It's rare that I see dark skinned main characters in stories on Mibba. I'm at fault as well, many of my stories include only Caucasians except this story, a one shot I did called,Death of A Rose Another story I kinda gave up on for now, has the only black guy character I've created and posted, but he's not the main and that's called, Who am I? Lastly, one I'm slowly working on is, One Little Star in Infinite Space, focuses on a black girl and the way she grows from child to young adult. Feel free to check them out and let me know what you think! :) I'm doing okay with having diverse characters, but I really need to do my part and produce more stories with more black people. I'm happy you enjoyed the story! Since it's technically complete, I'm not sure if I'll add another chapter or if I'll just do a sequel, sequel was more of what I was thinking. I can let you know when I update if you want, if I don't do another chapter. I love Noella, I hold her close to my heart, she's strong and can survive anything, she just may not know it yet.

I have to admit, your story mainly sparked my interest because the main character was a beautiful woman of color.
After reading it, I've grown an interest to it.

I can't wait for the next chapter.
I also hope things work out for Noella. She's already my girl.
