OOOOH SHIT. I didn't see that coming. I was thinking like her parent died for some reason. I'm not gonna lie it took me like a whole five minutes to stop staring at that gif and finally read this. But I really liked this, it was a nice twist and definitely something unique. Your writing style is very easy on the eyes so that helped too. ;)

Holy crap, I could feel the emotion in this. The fact that you wrote this in second person from the deceased made it even more powerful. From the first line, you captivated me and pulled me in, and the last line nearly had me in tears. The way you described a funeral is exactly how it is, the solmness, the sea of black, everything.

Or perhaps it is the simple fact that, as they lower my body into the ground, you would happily bury yourself alive to lie beside me one last time.
I can't even begin to describe how much I love this. It's just perfect and packs quite the punch.

    I loved this!

I'm here judging for the Keep the Music Short and Sweet contest.

This story made me insanely emotional. I was listening to the song while I read it, and the music and the story together made me want to cry. On top of that, the fact that you wrote this in second person just punched me right in the heart.

The flow and descriptions of this were gorgeous. The descriptions were almost understated, so it didn't feel overbearing or overflowing but it was just enough for me to feel everything and it was lovely. The emotions were also huge, obviously, and I think having the story in second person really brought them to the next level and agh. I loved it so much. I also liked the little bit of music theory you put in there.

This was just gorgeous and I loved it. Thanks for entering!

Wow, very beautiful piece. I loved how you wrote the end. This was very sweet and touching.
I really liked how we become more aware of life when someone we loves dies. Very spot on.

The layout is beautiful, but the font is incredibly small. I seriously could not read it(I had to copy and paste the text somewhere else).
