What I like about the first chapter is that it begins with present day, then goes back to a memory of her being found and basically what started her life as knowing Erin and Mikasa (and starting at the beginning of the show/ manga), and then goes straight back into the present. Which the end of the chapter surprised me because I totally thought she would be with Erin and them, defending against the titans. But I guess I should have known when you mentioned Bertolt... Or maybe she is defending against the titans. I'm not too far into the show to really understand whose side he is on.

I still don't know if I can trust Rayne... I swear as I was reading her dialogue, I couldn't help but feel suspicious even though I don't really know whose side she is really on. I mean, she could eventually be a good or a bad guy.

I like how fast paced this story is so far (even though I haven't read too much because I haven't gotten that far into the anime/ manga and don't want to majorly spoil it for myself); I was never bored when reading it. I would suggest though to maybe add a little more about the walls maybe for someone who doesn't have that much knowledge (or like me who can't tell the differences between them) just so they get an idea on which wall is which. But that's my only suggestion. Anyway, I really liked reading this story so far. Good job!
