I know this is only the second piece I've read from you but I am already loving your simplistic style and aesthetic. Simple, short and "quietly" dramatic... This piece is also beautifully written!
You portray emotion very well, with just enough words and without straight out saying "they are happy/sad/angry," etc.
For this piece, I really felt like I was experiencing the fatigue and it made my heart ache. As a reader i love it when a writer forces me to feel emotions!
And because we have no information on the characters, setting or time, I feel that you make them relatable in a strange (but great) way.
I honestly feel like I don't have the right word to describe it, but I want to say that your writing is "delicately powerful"... paradoxical, I know, but simple words do not do your writing justice. You are true painter with words!
Well done. I enjoyed reading this very much!
The whole story flows together so effortlessly. I feel like you packed an entire story in this tiny amount of words, which really is what a drabble is supposed to do, and everything flowed from one thought to the next so well. You captured an entire relationship without it sounded choppy or awkward which I really appreciated it.
Again, amazing job. I really enjoy your drabbles.
