Just read the recent update, and this is already something I am excited to see where this story goes!
Merlin already sounds like a fun character to follow. And I am curious to see how Marion is as the Heir to the Maleficent title. Speaking of which... I am more and more intrigued to learn about the Maleficent lineage in the world you two have created!

    Thank you for the update!

I know this is only the prologue but I am already in love. It's been a while since I read a good fairy tale adventure and I now realize that it is long overdue.

The prologue was beautifully written; I am a huge sucker for details that "paint" the story for the readers and I found that I didn't have to try hard to be able to picture the skies, the village and the chaos that ensued.
The shift from the warm peaceful village to the terrifying invasion was done very well. I don't know if it was intentional, but I really felt like I was seeing the event unfold from a child's perspective-- Marion's, where you didn't understand fully what was going on but everything was happening so fast. I would imagine that is what it would feel like as a young child.

I'm not sure where this story is going but reading the summary, I am very excited to read more. It looks like this story is well thought out, and to take different classics and putting it into one to make a new unique story is so intriguing and I can't wait to read more.

You have my rec and subscription! Thank you for sharing!

This is such a fresh, unique idea! I don't believe I've ever seen a fairy tale crossover that included other mythos as well, and that's very interesting to me. Your layout is very bright and simple, but also beautiful. I love the style in which this is written as well. You give a good feel for who Marion is and what kind of heart she's got, as well as her parents. Your use of language fits the time period this is written in, as well. All in all, this is just completely lovely and I'm already waiting for the second chapter very eagerly!
