I also tried to use the idea of only doing major events for another story I have, but it never really worked out. I let people suggest ideas, and they often weren't just major things. That really needs planning. I'm happy to see it worked well for this one though.

Like, I'll have some major events in my head that could connect the middle to the end, but not the stuff to connect those together. The fillers are the worst. That's why this story is great, only major events!

I totally understand that! I’m backwards and like to know how things end when I do write (for myself) but it’s getting the middle to meet with the end that gets me.

It's like you've already read the next part (that I wrote over a week ago). You're completely spot on for one part. That unfortunately means it can't be used for the last last chapter, but I'm still thinking of something. I'm having trouble thinking of something, which is not normal for me. Usually, I base a story on the way I want it to end

What if the dog gets sick, she takes her to the vet. Jack is there with his cat (or something) they go for coffee later Alex shows up. She caught James cheating or he had to move to work and boom her and Alex accept fate and get together. I have no idea I suck at writing lol

The concert idea might be a problem (you'll see why later), but a performance does seem like a good idea. I'll see what I can do with it.

NO OPEN ENDED SCENE!!! And they HAVE to get together in the end!!! Do like.... her being side stage at a concert or her being on this last warped tour with them.... or better yet, him and jack being in the audience at one of her performances or movies or something
