I never played Final Fantasy before, but the way you wrote this peace made me feel and understand Kefka despite being a total noob. The way you painted Kefka in my mind, you did it so beautifully. Honestly, it makes me want to play the game even more, aha. But anyway, that last paragraph was such a great twist. Despite painting him as such a dark and maniacal character, adding that sense of sadness/guilt, it made me empathize with him. You’re a very talented writer!

Though I do play a lot of video games I never had the chance to get into the Final Fantasy series, but despite that I thought I'd give this a read!

I like this! Your characterisations are really good and in just a short section of writing you've really painted the image of Kefka Palazzo strongly in my mind. The last paragraph was particularly dark, but I love how the ending sentence was almost a twist. You really painted Kefka as a psychotic person who feels no remorse, but by adding he felt a sense of...sadness; it created so much more body to the character and gave him a whole new dimension!
