I'm so so glad it ended the way it did!
That epilogue was amazing! I'm so sorry I've been mia lately. The past 3 months have been super hectic ages depressing. I've got ALOT of catching up to do.

I think after everything they've been through, it would've been devastating if they didn't get their happy ending. They were frigging made for each other! It was so good to see them declare their love. It was the perfect ending for them.

I always debate the somewhat cheesy happy endings, but I really felt like Paige and Tim deserved it. Plus, it was almost four years in the making...of course they fell in love! Right?

Chapter Thirty Seven - Take 2

"Some crazy fan made it past security. Just thought you guys should know." - A crazy fan who wants to maul their guitarist

Hands grabbing her ass, he lifted her, leaving her little choice except to hook her legs around him. Face to face, he grinned at her. "Hi." - Oi! Again, I feel I must declare that she is not for you! Bad Manson!

Her boyfriend simply looked amused. - Naww... her boyfriend...

"I need to be naked with my boyfriend. I'll talk to them later." - Yeah, sorry, that would definitely be the priority!

"I am in love with you, älskling." - NAWWW!!!

"We have all the time in the world." - well damn! You ended this perfectly. I'm so glad they're able to have time to just explore their relationship and be happy without him disappearing off on tour! At least for a little while.

Honestly, this saga has been a whirlwind of emotions, but I enjoyed every second of it! I loved the realness of the characters, that nobody was perfect and they all had their own faults. Were they infuriating at times? Yes. But that just means you did an exceptional job at drawing me into the world you created. Honestly, hands down, this has to be my favourite saga on Mibba. I will surely read it again.

As much as I'd love to read more of Tim and Paige's life, it was a perfect ending and I have closure! So thank you!

Chapter Thirty Three

Nerves winning out, Paige detoured to the bar for a drink. - I totally support liquid courage. Sometimes it is just 100% necessary.

He deserved an explanation for her bailing out like a coward and not giving him an answer. - It's cute that she thinks she should apologise... but at the same time, I kind of feel like she doesn't owe him anything. She's entitled to keep her business her business and honestly, his interest in her love life appears only surface deep. Just another guy wanting to get in her pants. Haha.

"It wasn't a big deal." - See? He gets it. Hahahaha.

"I let an ex ruin my relationship," she admitted. - mmm... did you? I feel like the choices that led to the demise of her relationship were all hers. Besides, I feel like it probably wouldn't have been a long term relationship. But that might be because I just believe she belongs with Tim.

She had convinced herself the apology mattered, but maybe she'd simply wanted Daniel to know she was single. - Oh my god, woman! You're love life is complicated and messed up enough and now you want Daniel to know you're single? Keep it in your pants, girl!

"You are here with Daniel after demanding that I make a choice, and that does not seem unfair to you?" - I hate to admit it... but I kind of agree. Okay, it's not his business until he makes a choice, but honestly... she even just admitted to herself that she wanted Daniel to know she's single. So the indignation for Tim's reaction to her being there to see Daniel is a little unjustified. It doesn't give off the impression she's all that serious about her ultimatum to him.

I feel him grabbing her and kissing her is a definite possessive move. I mean, I know he still has to make his choice, but he doesn't want her looking elsewhere before he's had a chance to decide. Although, side note, what the fuck is there to consider, Tim?! Just give it a bloody shot already! Argh!! Stop dragging her along. Either you want a relationship or you let her go for good. Butthead!

Chapter Thirty Four

Welp. I don't blame her for feeling a little disappointed and empty that the album is done. I feel it has more to do with not getting to spend regular time with Manson and Tim, but that is understandable.

I envy how quickly she's able to slip into party mode. Personally, I take days to work myself up into the mood to party. I'm far too easily amused with chilling at home on my couch. Hahaha.

It seemed Andrea had not yet told the guitarist she was hunting for a job in California. - Naww... cute!

Paige gave him a look. "I'm driving tonight."

Manson grinned at her. "We'll see." - Shit... if she's having three shots straight off the bat, she aint driving!!

As always, his unruffled demeanor only stoked her rising anger. - I relate to that so much. I hate when you're angry at someone and they just remain calm and barely react... it's so damn frustrating! And it makes you like a psycho, even when your anger is completely justified.

"No! You're an asshole. Every time you come into my life, you fuck it up! And you know, you're too old to make all of your decisions with your dick." - Ohhhh! Okay, that is such a good call and she is so right. His behavior certainly doesn't mimic his supposed maturity. And when he uses their age difference as the reason they can't be together... it really is a crock of shit when he doesn't act his age.

"I was not what you needed, älskling. It would have been selfish to take from you what I could not offer in return." - Okay... is it the wishful thinking in me that notices he says he wasn't what she needed, not that he isn't? As in, the timing wasn't right for them before, but now... she's grown as a person and got her shit together, so the timing is right... right?

Of course I feel a little heartbroken for her as she runs out of the club. I like to think that she simply didn't let him finish... but I'm really not sure. It did feel like the beginnings of him trying to let her down easy, but I just don't know. Poor girl.

Chapter Thirty Five

Oh my god! Yes! It's the same night! Am I right?! Did she just not let him finish?!

Who the hell...? -

"What. The. Fuck." Paige started to slam the door in his face, but he caught it and shoved his way inside. - Totally get her reaction, but that made me laugh. I would want to close the door in his face too! But he's a bit stronger than her..

Her palm collided with his cheek, the resulting pop! stunning her into wide-eyed silence. Tim barely reacted. - Oh, shit! He's really got her fired up!

Neither of them had ever been able to tell the other no. - Never a truer line spoken in this entire saga!

It's actually bittersweet the motives pushing her to attack him (sexually, of course him) since she truly believes it's putting off her inevitable heartbreak. But I like to believe his motives are completely different.. although I wish he'd stop and explain himself!!

"You've gotta get naked this time," she said with a laugh, peeling his shirt back off and dropping it to the floor. - Wholeheartedly agree!!!

Chapter Thirty Six

I find it telling that he stayed the night. I know she doesn't want to let herself believe it means anything, to try and protect her heart. But I think it does!

I actually find her aggressive nature towards him somewhat amusing. I mean, I know it's a defensive mechanism and she is actually angry because she believes he's breaking her heart again... but yeah, I dunno. I just find the contrast in the way she's treating him to the night before so extreme. She is not handling this situation well. Hahaha.

"I grow weary of your petulant behavior, älskling," Tim said. - I honestly can't blame him. But hey, move it along, dude! Spit it out!!!

"But you wouldn't have. You would have stayed with me on the road and continued dancing. That was not what you were meant to do. Not who you were meant to be." - Well, he's totally right. Letting her go the first time was the right choice. This time, however...

FINALLY!!! HE GIVES IN!! I'm so glad they can finally be together!! They deserve to be happy with each other!!

Chapter Thirty Seven

I almost don't want to read this chapter, becuase then it's over...

Naww, I love that she's surprising him with an early visit. And I like that she's stayed true to her word and has finished school and is taking opportunities as they come to her.

Jimmy had made her "beg" for her job back upon her return. - Hahaha! Of course, I would expect no less.

I love the insight into what's going on with everyone else and that all their relationships are progressing nicely!

Aww, that's sweet that peace was made between her and Jeordie. And I like that it was as simple as her receiving a copy of the CD and a simple note on the booklet. Coz things would never be "great" between them, considering what went down, but it's enough of a gesture to show he's at least accepted it and moved on.

Luke crept forward and suddenly, Tim's lazy rendition was all but silenced, his amp going dead. This caused everyone in the band to look up. Luke raised his hands

Chapter Twenty Seven

Naww, I feel bad for her that she felt she has to lie to her parents in regard to Tim. Well, not really lie... more just not be forthcoming with information about him. I get it, though. She feels like her parents would be disappointed in her, but at the same time they're her parents and I'm sure it would take a lot more than that to disappoint them. Has she made perfect choices? No, but who does? She beats herself up too much over it all.

Now, she could actually picture her world without Jeordie in it. - Ouch... Okay, so I've made a point to call the poor guy Road Block for quite some time, but I still can't help but feel bad for the guy. I mean, I suppose I had hoped he'd turn out to be a bad guy, at least not as sweet and nice as he has been. But no... he has to be a good guy--just not the right one. I hope she ends it soon, mostly because I feel like stringing him along like she seems to be is just not fair. She needs to face the fact that regardless of what happens with Tim; she doesn't want to be with Jeordie.

"I could have you sleeping like a baby." - Tisk, tisk, Cupid! Save those lines for your wife.

"Then you shouldn't look to the past. You don't need anything from it. Focus your energy on the present and keeping those things that make you happy now." - What the hell, Cupid?! Now you're working against me! I know he's trying to help her get through her doubts and the confusion... but he should see that she's not happy with Road Block Jeordie... regardless of Tim. So even if she didn't try to make something work with him, Jeordie is not her future.

Chapter Twenty Eight

He had a beer in one hand and a pretty redhead's ass cheek in the other. - Bahahaha! I literally laughed out loud at that. Oh, Jimmy...

Is it bad that I'm hoping she doesn't make it back to Jeordie (I can't call him Road Block anymore... I fucking feel bad. Haha) for the midnight kiss? We know who I want her to kiss... argh!!

He was in a dark red dress shirt, a black vest, black jeans, and combat boots. - mmmm... sexy!

YES! He got the first kiss of the year!! As he should... these two are killing me!!

She found Jeordie at the bar. Before he could say anything, she linked her arms around his neck and pushed her mouth to his hungrily. - Oh, Paige... you are frustrating me now. I know she's trying desperately not to give in to Tim (even though she literally just did) but this is just getting out of hand. I dunno... I feel like she's being a bit selfish in the way she's not handling things. She thinks she's sparing people's feelings, but she's really not. She's making everything so much worse. She needs to just let go Jeordie go... whether she ends up with Tim or not, she just needs to stop this charade. I almost feel as though she's doing to Jeordie what Tim did to her, in a way...

Chapter Twenty Nine

Eventually, Jeordie began retaliating and they spent more time arguing than enjoying each other. - Again, I'm feeling bad for him. And I'm mad at Paige for dragging it out... she's making it so much worse than it needs to be. Argh.

He's frustratingly right. He hasn't ruined anything for her... she has had free will all along. Do I blame her for not resisting him? No. I certainly couldn't. Haha. But if she was ever as truly happy and committed to Jeordie as she wanted to be, then she wouldn't have allowed herself to succumb to Tim so many times. She really needs to face reality and the fact that every choice she has made has been hers and hers alone.

FINALLY! That was so long coming (pun totally intended) but man, was it worth it! Those two are just so frigging meant to be, it's ridiculous!

She again wondered if Tim's allure was based on the fact that he was technically off-limits. - It heightens the allure... but it's not the cause of it.

"You didn't answer your phone," he said. "Please tell me you weren't murdering my bassist and burying him in the backyard." - She may not have murdered him... but something was definitely buried!

Chapter Thirty

Paige frowned. She hadn't given much consideration to the idea of Jeordie being away from her. - I literally just asked this out loud "Why are you still with him?!" Argh. I'm getting a little more mad at her... she's being so selfish keeping this going on. As I've said, whether she ends up with Tim or not, she clearly isn't as into Jeordie as she keeps trying to convince herself that she is. It's just getting really messed up now.

He stormed out, slamming the door behind him. - Well... that sucked. For both of them. But I'm glad she was finally honest with him. I think it's the very least he deserved, after all.

"Jeordie didn't like the fact that I fucked Tim." - Blunt and to the point; finally the girl finds her voice!

I'm glad she had Cupid there to soothe her. She may be a little messed up, but she's only human and we all make mistakes.

Chapter Thirty One

She had thrown Jeordie away, and for what? - Although I think she did care for Jeordie... I just can't accept that their relationship would've lasted. I dunno. I feel like you can only be tempted to cheat if on some level you're already unhappy in your relationship. Whether it be because something is lacking, your not satisfied or whatever... there has to be something more than just the want for someone else.

I hope Dita is understanding... I can't say I'd blame her if she's not 100% cool with her husband spending the night with another woman. Yes, it was innocent and yes, he was just being a friend... but still. She has already clearly had her doubts...

I like Cupid's advice--except the part about resolving issues with Jeordie. I think for his sake, she needs to just let him go. She's not been honest with him the entire time they were dating and she did fool around on him--repeatedly. She doesn't deserve a second chance with him, if I'm completely honest.

"Did I ever think we'd be in bed together? Of course I did, sweetheart. I admit, I expected it to happen much sooner."

Paige rolled her eyes. "You're an asshole, Warner." - Oh, Cupid...

"What?" he asked, noticing her expression. "I'm a DJ. I hear this a lot." - Hahaha! Well, fair point.

Y'know, as soon as Daniel's intentions became clear to me... I literally groaned and said "Oh no..." but thank god she has some sense and walked away. Girl just needs to put a damn chastity belt on for a while and sort her shit out! Hahaha

Chapter Thirty Two

Paige quickly looked away from this delightfully sexy sight and plopped down next to Manson on the sofa. - Stronger than me... pretty sure I'd find it very hard to look away. Hahaha.

I can't blame her for being drawn into his embrace... he's like a drug. Hahaha.

Once she had her glass, she positioned herself as far from him as possible. - Hahaha! I just had this mental image of her circling an island counter, not so subtly trying to keep it between herself and him. Hahah. A solid barrier, if you will.

Oh, the flashback...

"No," he agreed. "I was not merely trying to, as you say, 'get my dick wet'." The phrase seemed distasteful to him and Paige smirked. - Hahaha! Well, while it may be blunt, it is a perfectly valid expression for what he could've possibly been doing.

"A couple. One no-strings-attached fuck, and one relationship." - Ouch...

Tim nodded once. "As did you," he reminded her gently. - Okay, so no one could expect him to be celibate while they were apart.. let's be real. But I feel that hearing he dated someone would be hurtful, since he had outright refused to date her. Yes, she dated Jeordie... but she never rejected Tim. So I feel like the circumstances are a little different. I'm not saying she has a right to be mad, but it hurting is justified.

"I'm not sure I have the answers." - Damn right! You tell him, girl! I want these two together... but he has to step up and make it happen. He knows how she feels... how she's always felt, so he needs to be the one to do something about it. She can't be just a fuck buddy again. She deserves much more!

"Figure out what you want, Tim. The only question you really have to answer is this -- am I worth it?" She was out of the kitchen and up the stairs without giving him time to react. Grabbing her bag, she ran from the house. - Naww... that was so necessary, but so hard to read. Poor thing is so vulnerable when it comes to him. He does need to sort his shit out and either leave her alone for good or admit that what the have--that she--is worth it.

Okay, I'm dying to keep reading... but I have neglected my writing for far too long now. So I need to dedicate some time to that. Until tomorrow... Friday... thank fucking god!!

Chapter Twenty Five

In fact, she kind of liked the idea of not being anyone's focus tonight. - Yes, poor dear is walking into an awkward situation. Of course he'll be cool as a cucumber... sexy bastard he is.

She could still feel the buttery richness of the leather pressed to her bare upper shoulders and lower back, Tim's face buried between her legs... - Yeah, that would make any girl blush furiously! And maybe also get extremely turned on again.

"Whatever. Can we get started? I have things to do after I leave, so it'd be great if this didn't take all night." - Phew! I can feel the ice from here after that sentence. I know she's uncomfortable, but that was probably a little more curt than necessary.

I know she's in a shitty situation, but she can't quit. She has a lot of reason to stick it out and try to make it work... I get that she has this connection with Tim that she's struggling to fight against, but still. She can't quit!

She had been careless with someone who was good to her, someone who cared about her. - As much as I feel Road Block needs to step aside, I do understand her guilt. He has--as far as I can tell--treated her well, but clearly there's something lacking there or she wouldn't still be so drawn to to Tim. He's just not the one.

Because it was Tim. That shouldn't have been an acceptable excuse, and yet...it was. - she's right... it shouldn't be, but it definitely is. Coz he's the ONE!

He certainly hadn't made her an offer for anything different. - As much as I hate to agree, she's right. He hasn't offered her anything real at this point... so her choice to stay with Road Block is understandable.

Without kissing her, Tim gently bit her bottom lip - argh... as hot as this little exchange is, I do feel he is being unfair! He needs to offer her more than just a moments pleasure... (I have Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? in my head and I feel it's very fitting right now) and right now, as I much as I want to believe he's totally in love with her, I just can't be sure.

"Would you guys like a solo Manson album?" he asked sarcastically. - Oh, Cupid, you crack me up!

Chapter Twenty Six

Girls night! We all need one of those every now and then.

"Almost four months. He flew home to take me on our first date while Rob Zombie was touring." Sarah shrugged. "I count that as the beginning." - Nawww!! That's so cute. John is sweet and he and Sarah make an adorable couple!

"I cheated on Alex," Paige stated flatly. Tim and I started a trend, she thought. - I choose to look at this in the way that they are just meant for each other and nobody else can stand in the way. Call me overly romantic, but it makes the situation sound better, yes?

"It morphed into a porno, not a romance." - Hahaha! True... but there was tiny moments of romance spliced in. Hahaha.

"What are you doing here? I thought y'all were--" She broke off, her attention drawn to the stairwell and the four men emerging from it. - So much for the girls night... but honestly, if it was me, I wouldn't mind them crashing my girls night

"Oh. My. God. You're going to propose!" -

I've said it before, but I really love the connection between Paige and Cupid. The playful banter, the slight sexual tension and best of all the depth of their friendship is just perfect.

Nawww!! Their Christmas gift for her is so sweet! Cupid's personal serenade is perfect... then to add the ticket home is just so thoughtful. I love the silent exchange between her and Tim... but man, she should have hugged him too! I know why she didn't... she struggles to control herself with just a minor touch/interaction, but still!!

Chapter Twenty Three

Paige waited until he was gone to turn to Hadley. "He's a keeper." - Naww, he's sweet! And definitely a keeper. She deserves the best and he's it!

"You need to learn how to keep your hands to yourself," Paige replied, attempting a stern tone. "Didn't you just get in trouble for that?" - tisk, tisk, Cupid! But I imagine he talks himself out of things quite well. Haha.

"I've had many years of practice. All my friends are alcoholics." -

Staying in one place, surrounded by friends, seemed like a good way to avoid that. - She's not gonna avoid that... no matter where she is or who she's with. It's inevitable... like a moth to a flame

Paige passed the first floor bathroom and climbed the stairs. The bathroom off the studio was smaller but sure to be cleaner. - moth is on the way...

Tim had just emerged from the studio. - ...and here's the flame!!

He was devastatingly handsome. - Argh, so true...

"There is nothing about touring that you miss? Traveling, visiting new places, nights out with the other girls...nights in with me?" - ahh... Tim. Lets be real here, what you really want to know is if she misses you... and as if you don't know that she does. I get wanting to hear her say it, but I sincerely hope it's not a damn ego thing.

Oh man! I want them to hook up, you know I do...but shit. I'm not sure this is the way it should go down! They need to communicate more, which is something they've been terrible at so far. If it's just a hook up for nostalgia's sake, then they need to clarify that. If it's the start of something that has been building for literally years... then awesome. But I feel that if they just jump each other without really having a plan, they're both gonna get hurt.

Chapter Twenty Four

Phew! Well, that got hot and heavy fast.. then somehow she came to her senses. I'm impressed, pretty sure I wouldn't have. Hahaha. And can I also point out that he was extremely giving... even tho it was his birthday? I get he just wanted her and had to make her lose her mind to try and achieve it.. but still

Am I a horrible person that I'm glad she got so drunk that she couldn't do anything with Road Block? He was a good guy, taking care of her, but he's just not the guy! He's a road block! And I think it's time she cut him loose. Haha.

"While we were playing. Where were you?" - Ouch. Okay, way to make me actually feel bad for Road Block. He clearly isn't stupid and he is obviously starting to pick up on her troubles. Whether they're serious or not, I feel like he probably deserves a little better than what's happening... Damn you! I'm supposed to just dislike him and want him out of the way! Hahaha

I need to go to bed... but we're having a late dinner so I'm squeezing a chapter in!

Chapter Twenty Two

There was a thud, quickly followed by Brian's appearance behind Andrea. - Oh, Brian you little perv! I can't blame him of course... he's a guy and she was prospective naked girl. Hahaha.

Paige sighed. Andrea didn't take the word no very well. - I feel I should stick up for Andrea and point out that Paige didn't actually say no... She said she didn't know... which opens up the option of negotiating until Paige agrees. Hahaha.

Paige smiled, though she didn't feel happy, exactly.

"Stop," Paige scolded, experiencing a stab of annoyance. "I have to be up early." - Do I sense trouble in paradise? Granted, she gave in.. but hey, she was irritated! It's something! Although it does make me wonder if what Cupid said earlier about them only really seemingly having a physical relationship... it's not seeming like they spend a lot of time together out of the bed and each others pants

But Sarah did. - OF COURSE SARAH DID! SHE IS AMAZING!

It wasn't so much that she didn't want to be around him, just that she didn't really care whether she saw him or not. - Oh! Is Road block about to get cleared out?!?! YES! DO IT PAIGE! Take a detour and get around that road block!!!

It was enough to drive a girl crazy. - Holy hell, yes it is!!!

She was still attracted to Tim, and that attraction was beginning to poison other aspects of her life, particularly her relationship with Jeordie. - Psst! I'm pretty sure it's more than just an attraction, sweetheart!

I have no doubt Paige will be more than capable to persuade Cupid to perform at the party. She's got that charm he can't resist!

Okay, I hate it, but I need to sleep. I felt like crap today coz I went to bed too late last night, so don't want a repeat of that tomorrow

Chapter Nineteen

The dark-eyed guitarist shrugged. "She's in a British mood tonight." - I love that he's just accepting of her quirks and is so nonchalant about it. Adorable. Hahaha

Naww, I like that John wanted Paige and the others to spend time with Sarah! That's really cute and must mean he's pretty serious about her. I suspect she will have no trouble fitting in with them all

Interesting that she didn't invite Road Block. She's really gotta shake that guilt, or if she can't, then just talk to him about it. I mean, honestly, she's gotta do something and I feel she's possibly making this a much bigger deal than it needs to be. I get that's probably because she has super big feelings for Tim still and that's probably what she feels more guilty about than the actual kiss, but jeez. She is being self-destructive and making her romantic life way more complicated than it needs to be!!

I love that she's already got all these jobs lined up and she hasn't even gotten her degree. It really is not always what you know, but who you know Of course I'm sure she has the skill to be there, but her connections certainly help give her a jump start.

"No dicks allowed!" - BAHAHAHA! For now...

Paige almost felt bad for abandoning John, but she easily dismissed it once she was swaying to the music with the other girls. - I'm sure John will be fine. After all, he's getting what he wanted and Sarah is bonding with his friends!

"John was mine," Sarah admitted. A light blush colored her cheeks. "It took me ages to tell him." - Bahahaha! So cute. I love that the girls are bonding over the men in their lives... and they're crushes. Hahaha.

Paige knew what she was asking, and the truth was, she had fooled around with John on a few occasions. - Yeah, awkward. But that's for John to tell, if he so chooses to. So she made the right call.

Chapter Twenty

I like that she went home for a break. I think it was definitely needed, considering all the love drama she's got going on. A break from all the dick and confusion really should give her some time breathe!

"I needed you tonight, and I figured you would want some time with your boyfriend, so I killed two birds with one stone." - Oh, Cupid... your game is a lil cruel right now. Judging by her less than enthusiastic greeting, she's not quite so fussed on seeing him tonight--maybe at all. Ohhh... a joint birthday party for Zacky and Tim? Oh shit. I mean, I love the idea of that, coz um, two of the sexiest men ever (in my books) hosting a party... argh... the naughty visuals... Ahem, okay. Uh... What was I saying? Oh! Right! Joint party = discomfort for Paige. But alas, this is inevitable!!

"You swore to me that you could tolerate being around him." - to be fair, at the time she swore that, she really thought she could. And he hadn't started playing this game...well, not quite as obviously. Cupid should realise this. But I suppose Cupid has an agenda. Hahaha.

"He's been with other women since you left, sweetheart." - well no one expected he took a vow of celibacy. Although I'm interested as to whether he has an actual relationship or if it's just been sex.

Dita flicked a glance at the young girl, spun on her heel, and marched inside. Manson hurried after her. - You got some smoothing to do, Cupid. Innocent as the interactions between these two are, Dita would rightfully be suspicious and not overly fond of it, I'm sure. But hopefully he explains himself well and she understands the connection.

Guilt sliced through her -- she shouldn't want Tim to flirt - Nobody could blame you. I want him to. Hahahaha.

Risky peeking at his notebook, but I'm glad she did. Insight into his mind is a rare thing, it seems.

Chapter Fourteen

Even while he was in a healthy relationship with Dita, he still described romance with more than its fair share of melancholy. - Somehow I just can't picture him writing a happy love song... it would just be too weird. Hahaha.

"John is my friend. I can't pretend this experience wouldn't be better with him around." - Better... maybe even more awkward. Maybe better. Alas we can't really know, coz he's not there. She's stuck with Tim

"Well, you sure as hell aren't going to," - No, I don't think Cupid will! It's against his agenda.

"You weren't ready for it to be over three years ago. You feel like you have unfinished business with him." The shock rocker regarded her through the cloud she'd just exhaled. "He feels the same way." - So true, Cupid!! It's unfinished because it has to continue!

"You're fucking Jeordie," Manson cut in. "You guys don't ever go anywhere except the bedroom." - Oh my god, YES! Tell her, Cupid! Road block is not her boyfriend... he is a bump in the road of Paige and Tim.

I love her insecurity regarding her appearance in front of Tim... and him instantly looking her over. As if he isn't still thinking she's gorgeous

"I know you better than that, äls--" Tim broke off. His jaw tightened briefly, then he spoke again. - I love that he can't seem to break that habit, yet it frustrates him that he can't. So damn adorable!!

He really is trying to push that his reluctance to allow something real to develop between them 3 years ago was the right call. He desperately wants to prove that she's better off, but it seems more and more obvious that that's just not true. Nothing has gone away for them... they are as in love as they were 3 years ago. And still in denial about it.

Chapter Fifteen

It was as if he hadn't even noticed Paige was there. - Oh, he noticed... he's just better at playing it cool than she is. Unfortunately. Hahaha.

She still seems drawn to John, but not at the level she is Tim. I believe it's a genuine friendship connection for her with John, but it feels like he still pines for her romantically. Which is kind of sad, since he's never gonna get her. At least, I hope not...

Well shit. Apparently John is just fine! He has a new sexy girlfriend! Good. He deserves to be happy and find someone!

Chapter Sixteen

The more time Jeordie and Tim spent talking, the more frayed Paige's nerves became. - Eeek! Awkward. That would suck hard... especially since Jeordie doesn't know. If they both knew, it would be so much less nerve wracking. But who's fault is that?

"This is exactly why you should have told Jeordie the truth about Tim." - My point exactly! But I feel like Tim is unlikely to comment on their past... out of respect for her. I could be wrong, though...

"It's not my fault you've fucked two guys that have the same group of friends." - ehhh... one could argue he does have a role in it. Hahaha. But I get Cupid's point.

"It mattered," Tim murmured. "You mattered." - Naww... heart flutter!

She had moved on and was with Jeordie. She was happy. - Maybe if she tells herself enough, it might actually become true... nah, probably not.

Argh! That was such an intense embrace... and road block did what road block does and ruined it! Argh!!! I know, I know... it's messy and she's desperately trying to protect her heart from getting broken again, but dammit! I just want to smack the both of them and tell them to just stop the bullshit and be real. And he needs to make the first move (again) to repair it!

Chapter Seventeen

Just recalling it sent a stab of agony through her chest, always shadowed by the same thought -- How could I have done that to Jeordie? - Now, we know I'm not a huge fan of Road Block... but as Cupid pointed out earlier, they don't appear to be actually dating. Have they made it exclusive? No, not that I have seen. Is it an ideal situation? No. But she honestly hasn't really done anything wrong...

"My little fucking disaster," Manson said, eyeing her with undisguised amusement. - Bahaha! Love how he regards her. Hilarious and adorable.

"You didn't cheat."

Paige's brow furrowed. As she opened her mouth to argue, Manson added "Not by rock star standards." - I'm really feeling that Cupid is my spirit character in all this. I'm right there with him with like 90% of what he's said and done. Plus his wife is super hot, so that's a bonus. Hahaha.

Paige found it odd that Manson thought she was in the least bit innocent after being on the road with his band. - Oh, she's definitely still innocent. Hahaha.

"You need to talk to him, sweetheart. Find out how he views your relationship and lay down the law on what you will and will not tolerate." He smirked. "Of course, you'll have to abide by your own rules." - Sage advice, Cupid! He's like her guardian angel... or devil. He's a Guardian Cupid!!

Chapter Eighteen

She sent a text to Manson. "Where are you?" - Right where he should be; that is not there.

His response was entirely in his native language. Paige couldn't translate even a single word, yet hearing it made her squirm. - I really want to know what he said then.

"Do you feel guilty, älskling?" he finally asked. - I love that he's finally just giving in and allowing himself to call her älskling again

"I'm better off without you, remember?" - ooomph! I must applaud her for that one. As much as I'm dying to see them together, I still respect that he hurt her by rejecting her 3 years ago. He caused damage he would need to repair and even though her retort is a little bit bratty... I still feel it's justified.

Ignoring the hint of amusement in Tim's expression, she went to greet Manson. - that sexy bastard... Tim, not Cupid. Hahaha. I'm growing a little bit concerned. I really hope he's not just toying with her and enjoying the chase of trying to steal her away from Road Block. I am hoping his actions are genuine and born from real feelings... not a need to conquer her.

Argh, I have to go drive an hour to get my friend. But I'll be back tomorrow!!

Chapter Seven

Yeah, as glamorous as red carpets seem, it also seems really awkward to just stand there while a bunch of people take your photo. Not my idea of a fun time. Hahaha. But necessary to the evening. Her dress and makeup sounds stunning!

I do wonder if--since he is reasonably well known and all--her accompanying him to the awards will start a flurry of queries as to who she is and where Dita is. I mean, media do like to make a mountain out of a mole hill, after all. If not media, then fans... we all know they can get overly concerned with things like that

Tim glanced at her as he spoke to Manson. - I knew it!! Is Manson trying his hand at playing Cupid? I think it's adorable if that's true. Someone get that man a bow and arrow and a nappy! He's got work to do!!

"I wasn't sure he was coming." - sure he wasn't... hahaha

Unfortunately, he had always been better at prolonged silences than she was. - He does have an amazing poker face. It's irritating as hell!

"You never have any answers, do you?" she grumbled, again focusing on her dress.

"Maybe he thought it had been long enough and you would have quit acting like a sullen teenager."

Paige bristled. "You know what?" she said, rounding on him. "Fu--" - OHHH!! Shots fired! I did not expect that. But yes! These two need to have it out... clearly there's a lot of unresolved issues! Maybe it could end in some hot, angry sex?

"No," Tim replied calmly. "I am going to smoke. Join me if you wish." He walked outside. - Okay, that's infuriating for two reasons! One, he's the one that just pulled her away from the table, reasonably firmly. And two, his casual and almost indifferent approach is sexy as hell. He really knows how to make a girl want to chase him! And that is probably the most infuriating part.

I swear, that's the most he's seemingly asked her about herself in all of the story so far. He genuinely wants to know she's happy... which is sweet. But I'm still mad at him! He's not getting off that easy!

"I didn't know if I'd find you two fighting or fucking." - BAHAHAHA! Oh, Cupid! So blunt.

"You guys suck," Manson pouted. - I can almost hear the whiny tone...

Argh. No, not goodbye. I know it's too soon for them to hang out... but I don't care! I want them to! Argh. Killing me.

Chapter Eight

I've said it before, but I love Hadley! She's such a good friend. She's like my third favourite character. Hahaha.

"He was very persuasive," Hadley said defensively. - Hahaha! I feel she might be working with Cupid a lil. Maybe not necessarily to get them together, but more so to help Paige get closure. But no closure! Coz that means no more Paige and Tim and I just can't accept that.

Knowing she would be with Jeordie again in less than six hours filled her with a pleasant anticipation. - I have nothing against Jeordie.... but I find myself a bit over him. Coz I see him as a road block for Tim and Paige. I know he may be a necessary one... but still. I'm going to be a little bratty and not like him, just coz he's in the way! Hahaha

Okay, the interaction on the deck between her and Jeordie is nice... but I still can't shake this feeling that he has very casual/physical intentions with her. Much like Tim did... but not as up front about it. Of course this could be fueled by the fact that he's a road block for what I want to see happen. Maybe I'm imagining him as a bad guy coz I want to. Argh.

"I'm busy. Would you stop being infuriating and tell me what's going on?" - Haahaha! I suspect he'll never not be infuriating. Just sayin'

Paige rubbed her temple. He was right. Why does he have to be right? - See?! Even when he's doing something that could be considered nice, he's infuriating. Hahahaha!

Chapter Nine

Haha, good old fashioned girly catch up! I love Hadley's reasoning for telling Andrea what Paige has been up to is because she thought she was dead... hilarious!

"Is there a big story there?" - Hahaha! Subtle, Andrea... real subtle. Hahaha

"I'm sure as hell not here for Manson." - literally laughed out loud at that. Poor Cupid. Hahaha.

"Uh, three of your rock star crushes, bitch." - she's got a good point there... Hahahaha

"I couldn't have a girl that looked like you in the studio. I'd be too distracted and fuck everything up." - Well isn't he a smooth talker? Can't really blame him for trying... she does seem to have a thing for bass players

No, Jeordie is not her boyfriend... but will he be?

He and Hadley had wandered over, finally deciding to be sociable after nearly an hour of focusing only on each other. - Naww... cute! I like this pairing!

"You can't let that stop you from doing what you love. This is going to be your livelihood. You've gotta go for it." - Cupid's assistant is totally right. It is a great opportunity and kick start to her career. More than enough reason to do it!

Chapter Ten

I hate that she's questioning her decision due to concern of what Jeordie will thing. Girl needs to worry about her own self! Especially since; like she said, they're not serious yet. I don't see him having an issue with it... but I wish she'd make her choice on her own!

Bringing up her role as Tim's fuck buddy would only upset Jeordie, and for what? He had nothing to worry about. - Alright, I might feel like Jeordie is a road block, but she is so naive if she thinks it's a good idea not to mention her time with Tim. Argh... silly woman! You're setting yourself up for a shit fight!

Their pseudo-relationship hadn't mattered back then, and it didn't matter now. - Oh Paige... you really are good at convincing yourself of the most ridiculous things! She tries to hard to protect her heart, but just seems to be constantly setting it up to get shattered.

Alright, so road block gives her a good time... I'll give him that. Hahaha.

Chapter Eleven

Even more importantly, this would be her and Jeordie's first official outing as a couple. - I do not have a positive reaction to this line... I am anticipating that to be a rough first outing. I hope I'm wrong.

"Now I'll never be able to watch that movie again without popping a boner." - Oh, Jimmy... <3

She leaned close to her current lover. - that made me laugh.. her current lover. Since there's three of them at the table. Hahahaha.

"Oh. Well...congratulations, I suppose." - well that was a heartfelt sentiment. Dude could've made a bit more effort to conceal is displeasure!

"You'd better be glad I love you." - pretty sure you're not the only one...

"I had no idea Jeordie was into bestiality." - Okay, yes, out of line... but funny! I laughed. Hahaha.

The exchange between road block (sorry, it's sticking) and Paige was kind of cute. I want to like him and like this budding relationship... but I just can't get on board! It's Paige and Tim. Not Paige and road blo--I mean, Jeordie.

Chapter Twelve

"No," she said, in a rather decisive tone. "You're not like the others." - Damn right. Dita is clearly beautiful and smart

Tim was perched at the edge of the armchair with a guitar across his lap. - That's a pleasant mental image. I dunno why, but I like it. Hahahha.

"You wouldn't be if you'd demanded Jeordie pay you in cash instead of dick." -

Oh... just Manson and Tim. And Paige. Very interesting. Nice move, Cupid!!

"Mmm. Better than I remember." He winked at her before walking back inside. - Hahaha! Cupid is such a lil shit. I like the banter and shit between him and Paige... I pray the line is never crossed any further than that, though! They have such a good balanced connection!

"Excuse me," he said softly, moving aside so that her path wasn't blocked. - mhmm! Okay, why is that so damn attractive?! It's nothing! But I made a weird noise again and everything!

She can run to road block, but we all know who lit that fire.

Chapter Thirteen

As much as I like that she's seeking out his solo work and wanting to hear it... I feel she's probably not helping herself. Hahaha. She's gonna have enough trouble keeping herself in check, without having that in the back of her mind.

She hadn't been with anyone in three years, since her summer with Tim. Not even on a date. - Whoa! That's surprising. I mean, that's quite some time... and I know she had (has?) deep feelings for him, despite the situation. But still! And I don't blame her for having reservations about starting anything with Jeordie. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.

Hahaha! I love that she's throwing caution to the wind and accepting Jeordie's date! I mean, he seems sweet (thus far...) and she deserves to be happy. Although I'd prefer it with Tim... but it's only the first chapter

Naww... I do like her relationship with John. I'm not feeling any romantic vibes and I am really happy about that. I like him, but he is not for Paige!

"As far as I'm concerned, the rest of it doesn't matter. It's dead and buried in the past, where it belongs." - mmm.. I feel if it was so dead and buried, she wouldn't have been living the nun life for the past three years. I feel she may be a lil in denial here!

"So, um, there's been a change of plans. Some friends of mine just got to town and they want to have dinner." - Uh-oh... is one of those friends potentially who I think it is?

There was nothing that couldn't wait. - Oh no... I really feel that it couldn't wait. Oh shit...

Boom! There's Manson. I am on edge wondering if one of the other friends is Tim! It's almost midnight but now I need to read the next chapter!

Chapter Five

"Is Tim with him?" she asked quietly.

Slowly, Hadley nodded. - I know she's freaking out but... YAY!

I read the 6 lines of her literally running into Tim with a hand over my face. Argh! I love that you had him not instantly recognise her.. super realistic, since it's been three years and she certainly would've changed--more than just her hair.

...Come, äls--" - Oh! Be still my heart! I love how quickly he slipped back into the familiarity...

She was over him... Wasn't she? - *cough*NO*cough*

I do feel bad her date with Jeordie was ruined. But I do not feel bad that Tim was there! I am cruel person, but she needs to feel those feels and deal! She is clearly not over him... so why not get under him?

Whilst I appreciate that he came to check on her and also get an explanation of what happened... I fear the lust driven moments that followed may not be the best idea! I can't say I blame her, it has been a while and she is incredibly attracted to Jeordie... but still

Chapter Six - Okay... one more!

Well, as sexy as the morning wake up call may have been... I'm still reserved about Jeordie! I dunno... I'm feeling this may be a bit of conquest for him. I could be reading it totally wrong--maybe I want him to be a bad guy, to make Tim look better--but I just don't trust him...

Hahahaha! Oh, Manson... you are persistent. He's a determined man with his desire to catch up with Paige.

"At this rate, I'm going to be the only one you haven't fooled around with." - a touch harsh! But at least she lets it roll right off her. But I can see he still cares about her... like a big brotherly figure. Hahaha.

Oooh! An awards night... sounds like fun! Not sure Manson was completely honest about it being just them, tho...

Oh, and...I just got off the phone with the prettiest guy I know, and he told me to imagine him naked in my bed. Jerk. - is that the same guy we discussed recently?
