Poor Zoey just wants some love :( everyone has so many secrets…

Poor Zoey. Ash has so much going on that she can't possibly spare a thought for how life has been for her sister. She really can't blame herself. And Jesse... He needs to talk to her, fully, a real conversation. Because being dramatic and saying he can't isn't helping anyone. I was holding out hope that he was better than that, but I guess I was wrong. And her parents have gotta get their shit together. I don't know what else to say about them. Lol. They don't seem too concerned with what's going on in their daughters' lives.

I knew Zoey was spiraling and would eventually do something, like, potentially life-endingly stupid. Seems like Jett was the best friend to have around in that situation, though, luckily for Ash. But with all that has happened, now I have to wonder if Zoey did this to herself, or if it was done by someone else. I mean, who knows who could be the next victim? What if Zoey knows something? They still don't have a clue exactly what Ciara knew, except that it's tied in with what happened to Ash. Well, judging by that text, the better question might be who she knew it about.

This is so intriguing. I don't even have the slightest guess how this all started or who is behind it!

I really hope going to the police was the right choice, but I somehow feel that Fletcher's advice came from a place of some granule of knowledge he has, some reason she should have kept it to herself that he can't exactly spell out for her. I don't believe he was telling her to keep it quiet for a selfish reason; he doesn't seem like that guy.

True true, Ashley is a magnet, but remember Ciara knew all the secrets, so anything she finds won’t be pretty.

Oh my God! Is Jesse...using?! Surely not. No. He can't be. But that whole conversation with Kieran was suspect. And he's been referring to her as the love of his life? Hmm.

Well, Ashley has some subconscious, or primal if you will, instinct guiding her. There's no other explanation for her just happening to wander out to the site where she and her friends gathered that day. I hope she can get into Ciara's phone, though I'm worried she might find more than she bargained for. That seems to happen to her.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the story. I hope the twists aren’t putting you off though and you trust your instincts. And yeah, Jesse is her comfort blanket for now. :D

Well, this has certainly sent Ashley spinning, and it makes sense. So many questions left unanswered, and instead of solving any of them, she is only finding more to wonder about. What did her mom's words to Mr. Ford mean? I have my suspicions, but there are so many twists in this world that I could be waaaaayyy off. It makes sense that she would run back to Jesse; she always does. No matter what, she seems to consider him her safe haven, subconsciously at least.

I hope there is some kind of resolution soon, for her sanity.

So someone didn't want their secret getting out, but which secret was it? Apparently the whole town is hiding things. Any number of people could have wanted Ciara dead. And was one of the skeletons she unearthed the identity of the person who drowned Ash? Seems pretty convenient that Ciara was also drowned Did Ciara share any of her information with Ambrose? Does he now know things that he shouldn't? Is he in danger?

Ugh! Too many questions! Lol.

I was hoping against hope she wouldn't find Ciara dead. As much as I didn't like Ciara, I didn't necessarily want her snuffed out. I still needed so many answers from her! What does it all mean? How does it tie in with what happened to Ashley? And most importantly, who - or what - is doing this? Did Ciara actually know something and that's why she had to die??? So many questions...

Hey! Sorry took a while to reply, I’ve been wrecked with work lately.

Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed the chapter, I had to have one with Mason in it since it’s been so long and I thought this was the perfect time. However, Ciara... you may just have to wait.

Story will also return to monthly updates, as I previously stated I’m back at work. Thank you for sticking with it!

I'm as intrigued as Mason probably is after Ashley's question. I need to know what is going on with Ciara, and what happened to her in the woods!!! Who was she talking to? She addressed Ashley, but the "I know... I know and... I'm in the woods" was almost like someone else was with her, especially given that Ashley was fairly certain she was pocket dialed.

Ciara’s been said to be smart so who knows? As for Zoey, yeah... tbf if she was my sister I’d want to knock some sense into her too

If something has Ciara this shaken, I would definitely be concerned. She may not be guilty, but neither is she clueless. And what the fuck, Zoey?! That was ridiculously harsh, even for someone who is dealing with their parents and a sister with a "superiority complex." I understand that Zoey is frustrated and not exactly herself, as she's under the influence, but she needs a swift kick in the ass!
