Oh wow. A lot has happened!

Ooooh, Zoey and Ben had a past, and Ben wants to rekindle it? Hell yeah! Who wouldn't want to hook up with Ben? He's adorable!

Sam and Tommy. Good for her, but I'm sure Matt's protective side is gonna rear its head when he finds out. At least Val is on her side. That should help. I imagine she's best at reasoning with him.

I'm not surprised Robby and Miguel are causing trouble. They're jealous that the girls don't want them. Brian has a point, to be fair, but he is gonna have to understand that Zoey isn't a kid anymore. A six year age difference isn't that bad. And she never said she wasn't going to school, just that she needed time to figure out what she wants to do. I understand why Brian is afraid that Ben will derail her future, but he needs to trust his daughter.

I can only imagine all the stress isn't exactly helping her manage her health issues. Things are gonna be tense while Brian is storming around, and it may get worse once Matt learns the truth about Sam and Tommy. Two pissed off A7X members would be a lot to deal with.

I hope Brian and Zoey can heal the rift. He needs to talk to her and let her express herself. He told her she could do what she wanted, but I don't feel that he was being sincere.

Matt and Val are amazing. I would definitely call Val "Mom" in this case; she is such a stark contrast to Amanda. I hope Amanda and Daniel get what they deserve for being so selfish and careless.

Oh wow! I immediately noticed the name Larusso from the Karate Kid. Though I'm not sure if was supposed to be an actual cameo of said Karate Kid/Cobra Kai character but still, I'm not complaining. Anyway, this first chapter has me hooked and I'm wondering why Sam's mom didn't fight for her to stay? Good job in keeping me in suspense of what's going to happen next. Hopefully Matt and Sam can catch up and bond. Great story so far!

I'm glad Sam is warming up to everyone. They all seem very nice, and Matt is clearly excited about getting to know his daughter. Eli is kind of a douche, but Zoey is definitely BFF material. I wish Zoey's relationship with her parents wasn't currently in the pits. I wonder what the full conversation was that she only heard part of? And how is there any justification for calling her a mistake?

I hope all goes well with Sam's appointment!

That was a bitch move on her mom's part. She should have stood up for her daughter instead of giving in to what her new husband wanted. But it at least seems like she is being welcomed warmly by Matt and Val. I understand her distrust, I just hope she gives them a chance.
