    I love this story!
The ending, where it tells you that the whole thing is her writing in her journal, reminded me of The Outsiders.
    I love The Outsiders.
This story reminds me of The Outsiders. It was great Very Happy

Have you ever heard of "The Breakfast Club"? Riley reminds me of the brown-haired girl and Dirk is like Johnny.

Okay...I'm sorry for commenting twice in a row, but I couldn't help but to read this all in one setting. There's so much raw emotion and character in this; even background characters have three-dimmensional personalities. You should seriously publish this.

I'm in love with your writing style. I love how it reflects Riley's personality; I'm only on chapter 6 but I'm hooked.

Sort of reminded me of Catcher in the Rye, but with Chuck Palahniuk's writing style. So amazing!

    Just read this.
Hopefully Dujo/ an administrator won't kill me for commenting 30 days after the last post...
But I just wanted to comment, cos I know I love a comment on an old story! In Love
You've got the whole sketchy thought process down.

*Chapter six : Guy Fawkes mask?
*Chapter 34 : put a header to make it obvious we're in Dirk's p.o.v? Took me a while to get that!

Finished! and it was awesome. :cute:

Mibba is being smart with me, I just tried to post a comment and it didn't post it.
I'm late. I just read this in one go. But I had to comment.

I absolutely loved it. It was amazing. It's like the best thing I've read on Mibba, better than some published work I've read. I wish I could write like this. You should get it published. It could totally sell.

Ten stars. You deserve it. This story was honestly just so goddamn good. I loved Riley's point of view. Caleb is a sweetheart. I love him. He's adorable. I love how he was so shy, but opened up more throughout the story. You made it seem so natural, how you did it gradually.
Dirk reminds me of Rodgerson from the book Dreamland. It's by Sarah Dessen, you should read it if you haven't.
This story actually reminds me a lot of Dreamland…

Keep writing. You have an amazing talent.

Whoa. That was kind of like The Outsiders, except without the symbolism and gang wars.

Not bad so far. Your concise writing style is hindering you only because you "tell" a lot, which is not inherently bad, but you might want to "show" something once and a while.

Riley - decent character, but under her attitude and the way she talks and thinks and the way she handles people, there isn't an enormous amount to this character. A problem with having an MC like this is that it makes her very difficult to identify with; you might want to give her some traits that are more recognizable to readers. I know she's supposed to be a "freak" or "mental case" and everything she calls herself, but something identifiable might be nice.

Other than that, my only real complaint is that I saw the rape coming. To me, it was predictable; to be honest I was kinda expecting it from the moment she met Dirk... but I think that's just because I know you. =P

That was definitely one of the best stories I've ever read on Mibba. And the ending was awesome. I also read how the future turned out, and it's so awesome that Riley got married and everything. :] Loved it.
