Charles...Not a bad bloke afterall. And he truly did love Ava. And she loved him like a daughter would. That was heartfelt.
When a door closes, someone opens a window? Well someone opened a window alright, and shoved Ava...sorry, Lady Winchester right through it.
Now she and Billie can live happily ever after. Just like in one of those extreme Disney movies, she mentioned. Yay!!!!

It's like Charles was there to bring her down- but in the end- he was the very thing that allowed her to chase after what she truly wants. Dammit... I can't be mad at the guy anymore.

I liked this chapter especially because it was a break from the love that we crave for chapter after chapter. Now, Billie better not be with Sarah when she gets there. I bet his kids like Ava more than they like Sarah.
This chapter also showed Ava's character all around. The Baudelaire lover and sinister sort of classy. I love her.

and I laughed quite a bit at the fact that Mike was jealous of Billie's jacket. I loved that detail so much.
This chapter was a bit sad for many reasons. One being that Billie told his closest friend that he was over Ava. What could have crossed his mind that would make him believe that? And Sarah obviously liks Billie-- BUT she HAS to go!!

Okay so I'm pretty sad for the next chapters. I think they will be wonderful, though.

I think this whole Charles dying thing is true...or maybe he wants her to pity him and give him a last fuck? 0.o i dunno....and i loved this part: It was like having a small amount of a drug then it so ruthlessly being removed.

Not sure what to think of this. I mean, sure, Charles is a stalker and turned our beloved Ava into a hooker, but underneath all that he seemed okay. Not heart-of-gold, winning-the-nobel-peace-prize kinda good, but, y'know, okay.

So, dunno. I think he is dying... that would be fitting. He may have been a manipulative bastard but he didn't seem the type to outright lie that way.
