    "Secret"

    You didn't die; you disappeared.

^One of many lines that touched me deeply. This was very sweet I love how you made the characters so interesting and mysterious by not giving them names. I loved it greatly.

Oh wow, I am really at a loss for words. I don't think I have ever read something so beautifully written. I don't think I could ever write something so positively beautiful. It's like a painting without the picture, you can just imagine everything there. You have gift, and it is so absolutely amazing

I've just read the first chapter of this and :cheese: oh, my GOD. I saw a lot of similar comments, but I cannot help myself. x] Anyway, I shall leave a proper comment once I finish reading. I just couldn't wait to tell you, once again, how amazing you are.

    God almighty.
Who can turn WORD VOMIT into a masterpeice? -points- songbird. It's official, I think we should all abandon our hopes of writing the new 'thing' someday, because we all know who will take the title. -points once more-.
It's every aspiring writer's author's dream to write like you, songbird. You're going places, I just know it. And if this ability of yours blossoms within time [It doesn't need to, though], then Ayn Rand will turn over in her grave- and all the Stephenie Meyer's out there will be sent to a damned early one.
    Bravo, songbird.

    I remember Stand By Me.

One day I'm going to take all of the stories I gave up on and turn them into something better, and finish it.

Omg...Jess? I...wow. That was amazing. I love "Reasons Unknown". I love the thing with the birds and the whole descriptions of it. The phrase "Mormon rain" is actually pretty powerful. And the way you tell the beginning of the marriage and how it all just deteriorated...Its weird, but I really wanted to cry. This is such a strong use of second-person narrative. Its brilliant. I remember you used to get really insecure about your writing skills and you once made a blog about it on GSB.

I don't understand it. You are amazing. And one day, I'll be at Barnes and Noble taking a book off the shelf, smiling at no one in particular because I knew the author back when she wrote "Stand By Me".

    -Sigh-

I say we all just stop writing. She's too damn good, we can't compete. You're writing is so beautiful, you should be published. Keep up the good work kiddo, you're going places...

Um... I think I wanna kill myself now. Why? Because I've run out of adjectives to describe your writing with 'A Lack Of Color.' Is there anything I can say that won't make me seem repetitive/a stalker? I don't think so.

    I will say this only...

You describe with such beautiful words I desperately wanted to be sucked into that world, even if it's a dingy bar. Yes. I'm freakish, you know? :D

Just read a lack of color. It was beautiful... but yeah, eerie. In a good way. My favorite bit about your writing is the word choice you have in some places, for example wide asleep, and gentley intense. I love things like that. And as I said before, the description is really what pushes your writing. The way you describe things is amazing, not too many people can handle that much description and not get completely lost in what they're trying to say.

    For reasons unknown was amazing.
The imagery was so beautiful, and they way you described the marriage breaking down was fabulous; it wasn't through words spoken, it was more beautiful than that.
Fantasic. I am in awe. Clap

Hold on, some of that didn't quite make sense...

You get what I'm saying though, right? xD
