I know you finished this story a long time ago, but wow. I haven't been on mibba for years and then I remembered the first part of this story (way back in highschool) that I was half way through when I stopped coming on mibba. I cam back because I couldn't remember what happened and I read it all the way through today.
I just want to say that it was beyond incredible. I was one hundred percent rooting for Mikey throughout this story and regardless of the fact they never got married and looked after Charlie together like I hoped the ending was so fitting because throughout everything Ren and Gerard loved each other completely and that's what it comes down to. The Romeo and Juliet link in the last chapter had me bawling over how fitting it was.
Amazing story, and definitely something worth coming back to and reading and I'm sure one day I'll probably come back and re-read it. You are an incredible author, and you definitely know how to keep readers entertained. There was never a dull moment. Thank you, for writing this.

Hey, I read your stories and I'd just like to give you feedback. Don't worry, nothing bad; it's actually quite the opposite.
Usually when I read fanfiction and such, I look for the stores 20 chapters or less because I have a short attention span and I start getting bored with stories easily. So sometimes I don't even finish them. At first I was a bit iffy about reading your story because it was 40 chapters, but it looked interesting. I'm glad I did it. I read all three of them and had no problem with boredom. I just want to tell you that you did an awesome job and congratulate you for keeping my attention that long. That has never happened.

I see my name on the list so obviously i've commented before, but i've got to be honest... I went off mibba for quite a while and I stopped reading a lot of the stories I was reading at The time including this one, but I never forgot it. I came back on here not too long ago (i'm Dan Duran by The way) and I remembered this story, so For The past few days I have done nothing but read all of them again from start to finish. You are amazing. The best writer on this site by far and I Have just been in complete floods of tears reading The end of this story. No other story I Have ever read in my life has got such a reaction out of me. I've cried, laughed and felt scared reading all of your amazing stories and I am so glad I found them and had The pleasure of reading them again. That end chapter was beautiful, I swear to god I had to stop reading and light up a cigarette at one point because I was crying so much. You are so talented! And I want to thank you so much For writing this story because it is truely astonishing. I really can't stress how much I Love These stories! Incredible.. Just.. Incredible

The passed five days, I've read this story from start to finish, and I don't know what to say. It's amazing, It's fucking genious. I would ask if you've lived this yourself, because it seems so fucking real. But, well...your alive.
God, I want to congratulate you on this. It isn't the first time I've read it. I stared to read it a long time ago, when you were still in the first story. I just hate waiting for updates.
As soon as I opened up "We're going live" and saw the layout I knew I had to read it.
This is the most fucking amazing story I've ever read, mistakes and all. I may point out only four times you spelt attic right, but screw that.
I can't believe Gerard was such a mad man. So many times I was going to exit the story and stop reading because he was just pissing me off, but that was the brilliant part.
You managed to capture the most brilliant characters, and you kept them going. Also, you didn't go with the fucking cliche. I hate reading stories that show sympathy to the characters. You didn't do that, instead you pushed passed that and kept him the crazy that is.
And, congratulations on the ending. I'm never going to forget that ending. It was brilliant. I give you a one woman standing ovation for that, for the whole story, the plot, the characters, the tension building, the plot twists, EVERYTHING.
Your a fucking amazing writer. Your the sort of person I look up to, wishing I could write like.
Have you ever considered writing a novel and getting it published?

That was a great ending well not as in I'm happy they're dead.
I had to refrain from crying that was so sad.
But over all nice story. Also the prequels to this are amazing also.

Its like... a little part of me has died inside.
That was so touching.
I'm honestly in tears right now, and my mom is looking at me like "Wtf?".

When I read the line... about how Gerard was Romeo and Ren wa Juliet. I was like, "Oh shiet, I know whats going to happen". I could seriously feel the pain in my heart when Gerard stabbed himself, and it was like my mind was painting an image of what it looked like; Mikey freaking out, Ren in a hospital bed, and Gerard killing himself.
-I'm speechless, I don't know what to say.

I'm recommending this to as many people as possible, its just so.... whoa. I'm happy that it ended, and it ended on such an interesting and epic chapter, I couldn't have thought of it to end in an any better way.
-Well.... I mean, youc ould've kept them alive, but where's the interest in that?

Amazing. Bold. Brilliant. I could list all the things you made this story be, and I'd only be scratching the surface. I'm just awed by it right now, this has got to be the BEST Gerard Way FanFic I have ever read (and that's saying a lot). I'm gonna go crazy now that its over :)

Stop making me cry! The ending broke my heart. I still have a lump in my throat for christ's sakes! Beautifully tragic. I loved how everything tied together in a lose fitting Romeo and Juliet. It made this more of a classic than just a fan fic. I am most definitely staying subscribed so I can read this trilogy again.

PS: Poor Mikey being stuck in that elevator with Gee and Ren's dead bodies. Hopefully he'll be the one that takes care of Charlie. Poor Charlie.

So this story is fucking beautiful.
It's so sickly twisted and Gerard and Ren are so fucked up that it makes everything beautiful.
When I first saw this story, the main thing that intrigued me was the title: "Once Upon A Time, Back In Highschool."
And when I saw that it was a Gerard fic, I was some-what apprehensive about the whole thing. Why? Because most Gerard fics are so cliche and have similar plots, writting style etc. It got really boring to read them.
But I decided to give your story a shot and, shit, am I glad I did xD
I got hooked to the story a few chapters in and it didn't take me long to catch up on all your chapters..I just couldn't stop reading.

I felt so many emotions while reading this series--happiness, anger, sadness (is that a word?) excitement, love (for Mikey, of course)...a lot of emotions that most stories now a days don't make me feel. Like, for one of the ending chapters, when Gerard and Ren thought Mikey died, I was fucking bawling my eyes out while reading it..and I was at my friends house too! My friends were like "Whoah, Joanne, what's the matter?!"
I was like "Mikey is fucking dead!" and they were all like "Oh, fan-fics T____T"
And then when I read that he woke up, I screamed and clapped my hands, shouting "Fuck yeah, he's alive!"
See, most stories don't do that to me. Sure, I can get a lump in my throat but that's about it. So I'm pretty fucking sad that this story is over.

Gerard was a fucking mad man. I don't know, even though it is a Gerard fic, I still wanted Ren to get with Mikey in the end.
I still can't believe Gerard shot her. I mean, she was fucking saying that Mikey woke up and he was alive! Ren should've left him..but then again, that wouldn't be a good story ending, now would it? So, I'm kind of glad she didn't but no matter what...I'm still on TEAM MIKEY. <3
I feel bad for him though..he still wanted her to live and her parents were ready to pull the plug. But that was fucking harsh to kill himself in a elevator while his not-so-little brother was right there! Mikey fucking lost both the people he loved most.

I think I'm in love with Mikey in this story. I mean...-cough-

It was just the way you wrote him out and stuff that made me completely crazy for him.
I would have chosen Mikey over Gerard any day.

Ren was...well, also mad for staying with Gerard but it was understandable 'cause she loved him, even for all his flaws.
But..I would have not stayed with him after knowing he killed more than one person...-shrugs-
Oh well xD

What happened to Charlie? Did he stay with Ren's parents or Gerard's? Or Mikey, even?

Oh My GOD it was so epic!
I mean from the beginning you figured "oh just some stupid girl falls inlove" but oh god. I so am tempted to read it over again and again. Unlike most stories it was like a movie. It had everything of the makings of a great movie and i wish it could go on. I mean i know its impossible and there was no way in hell it would be able to last forever i kinda wish it could.
I mean it was as i said EPIC! It was great.
And even though i still think Ren should of ended up with Mikey the ending was perfict. I mean, i kinda wounder what Mikey is ganna go through but there was no better way to end it.

The music just set the mood so much that i pretty much cried hahah. And i mean it.

Forever More, On Team Mikey (He'll get her when there in heaven....we all know that hahaha)
