Myths Aren't Always Fiction

“Grizzly come on!”Then I shot up, “Grizzly! That’s it! You’re sweet so it’s totally opposite!” I yelled holding up my Grizzly!

“You’re awake!” Edward came in smiling at me, I felt a smile spread on my face thinking back to my dreams where it was my fairytale life with... oh you can guess who with!

“I’m guessing so since Grizzly licked my whole face.” I cheered, I have no idea why but I love with dog!

“You should get dressed if we’re going to make it to school on time.” He said sitting with me,

“You’re right.” I sighed and bent to my suitcase. I picked out some dark blue skinny jeans, a black ROXY hoodie, with a purple and black stripped t-shirt underneath. When I came back from the bathroom (Since I was too asleep to do magic) I saw Edward and Grizzly playing tug or war.

“Well isn’t that cute!” I sighed jumping on the bed the opposite way to his so my head was upside to him.

“Good morning.” I said smiling up at him, his smile was so sweet and secret.

“Did you sleep well?” He asked moving a piece or hair off my nose,

“I did, I guess I felt protected.” I noted still smiling up at him,

“Grizzly never left that arm of yours.” He said poking the fur-ball at my feet. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his face,

“I meant you never left me! Witched dream but we’re aware of everything and everyone!” I stressed looking up at him. He smiled softly,

“Really now? That’s quite interesting.” I nodded and bit my lip,

“I was wondering if I could...try something?” I asked quietly,

“Depends on what it is.”

“Well I was so... nervous I guess is the word about yesterday.” I said slowly pulling his face down to mine.

I didn’t mean for it to be so cliche! I was so damn nervous!

I felt numb or like I was on some high! Maybe I shouldn’t be so scared... I think Esme might have been right about this love thing. I squeezed my eyes shut until there was a small knock on the door,

“Kayli, you awake?” Alice’s voice was happy and quiet. Something tells me she saw this coming... I quickly pulled away,

“Yeah um I’ll be down in a minute!” Edward took my hands and kissed them softly,

“That wasn’t so scary was it?” He mumbled to me, I smiled sheepishly.

“Not as scary as I pictured it.” I agreed and sat up.

“School’s boring!” I stated picking up my bag. We I walked down stairs I had time to pick up an apple then I was being pushed out the door.

Even though I was new that wasn’t the reason I was being starred at! It was because I was in between Emmett and Edward Cullen, with my new family on the other sides of course...not to mention Emmett kept bumping me into Edward making me almost fall like 13 times!

I walked into Biology class with a giggling Alice,

“God! Would you just tell my why you’re giggling!” I complained hammering my bag on the table,

“If I tell you you’ll get scarred so... no!” She reasoned, I glared at her smirk.

“Fine then!” I huffed, today we were doing blood test but we would prick my blood twice for Alice.

Alice held my hand palm up and laughed I am okay with blood but I get shivers from watching the wound happen so I looked away, I felt her prick me and take it out but her grip froze, I looked at her then she jumped some how stabbing my open palm with the needle.

“Shit! Alice what happened!” I hissed holding my gushing hand to my hoodie,

“Mr. Hently! Kayli feels sick! I need to take her to the nurse!” Alice didn’t wait for an answer, she pulled me out of the room and to the parking lot,

“Can you heal your hand?” She asked desperately yet distant probably showing Edward what she had seen,

“I think so... Alice what the hell did you see?” I asked taking my sweater off and wrapping it around my hand to stop the bleeding, she clearly got so freaked she forgot how paper thin my skin was,

“Crap! I wish I could get peoples thoughts around!” She looked and sounded so scarred...

“I zap a warning sign,’ I paused and saw my hand, ‘I think...”

“Can you even fix it?” Her eyes were turning black,

“Alice, close your eyes and hold your breath.” I warned, I unwrapped my sweater seeing the bloody mess I put my good hand overtop and mumbled a healing spell I learned a few years back,

“Okay so my hand will be stiff for a day or so but fine.” I assured Alice who’s eyes were squeezed shut and nose plugged,

“Can you sending a warning thing?” I pointed over her shoulders,

“No need.” They all walked casually out of the school then bolted over here,

“What wrong!” Emmett yelled.

Wow laughs end quickly with them! Edward smiled at me, I grinned back.

“I saw them! Jacob and his pack somehow angered the Volturi extremely! I didn’t see how but now they’re coming to kill Bella and the pack in La Push!” Alice finally explained.

“Whoa... wait! Few things... how is it this girl gets herself into so much trouble and how do you know it was Jacob and Bella?” I questioned, they ignored the first one,

“Bella was yelling and someone from Jacob’s pack was yelling for Jacob. Huge mess...” I nodded silently.

“We have to tell them despite Edward’s obvious hates.” Jasper explained out loud, I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Call Carlisle, we’ll go home and tell Esme.” Rosalie said looking at Alice.

“Okay...We’ll get back as soon as possible.” Edward nodded then carried me to the car in a blink.

“We’re in danger aren’t we?” I asked gripping the seat form the speed.

“Nothing will happen to you.” He promised more to himself then to anyone.

“I know that, but I need to know how I can help.” No joke left his or my own voices.

“Simple you won’t.” My eyebrow arched at him,

“Please tell me you’re joking, Edward! I’m helping in any way I can when I know about these guys!” I argued,

“If they find out about you they’ll kill you or try to take you from me.” We stayed quiet till we arrived home.

So much for my happy fairytale ending...
