And if I Die Before I Wake...
Morgan's POV
At last the boring morning classes were over. I excused myself to the bathroom and ocked the door behind me.
Ilifted the hem of my skirt and untied a smoke bomb, this might teach the vampire not to mess with us. I returned to the flow of students and followed them into the cafeteria.
Upon entering I threw the bomb towards the monster while running one hand through my hair. It rolled underneath his table and released a clear smoke that would blind him.
I watched in satisfaction as his face twisted in pain and he rushed to the bathroom.
After getting my lunch I put my Ipod into my ears and turned on E Nomine to block out the boring babble of other students. I waited for him to return from the bathroom but he didn't so I smiled in victory and dumped my food. The I walked to my locker and got out my afternoon books. The inside of my locker was full of pictures of vampires with close ups of fangs and other features. I also kept a log book of vampires I had killed. I kept pictures and descriptions on each one.
I grabbed my log book and went out behind the school. I flipped to the page on my current target and wrote a description of the effects of smoke bomb on him.
Every vampire is different, some things work better on some vampires than they do on others, the last vampire I killed was only effected by the traditional holy water, that was a pain to get.
I then flipped to the first page and stared at it.
This page held the one vampire I wasn't going to kill, I was searching for a way to change this vampire into a human. This page held a picture of the vampire who was once my mother.
"I'll change you back mom" I mumbled.
I had no idea how. The only way to change a human into a vampire was to inject vampire blood into a human. The only way to get vampire blood was from a newly born vampire. After the first year it has absorbed all the blood in it's system and must start feeding. The only way to deal wiith a human turned vampire was to kill it.
I will find a way to save her. And when I do I can change back every human. I thought angrily. How dare these monsters take away people's loved ones like they do?
