Lake Effect
“Well… fuck.”
The day hadn’t started well for Pete, for two reasons.
The first, he had woken up in a lake, with no idea as to how he got there.
The second, he was missing his legs and now had a very shimmery red tail and fin where they should be.
He was a merman.
A freaking merman!
After going to a fair, Pete wakes up a merman. He has no way of getting in touch with the rest of his band, and he was somewhere he'd never been before.
Life began to suck.
But then he sees a familiar face appear in the lonely house by the lake, and life changes again.
