You had me at "Goodbye"

Delaney Lively is still mourning over her best friend, and lover, Braden Riley. Braden's been dead for about two years now, and she just can't seem to get over it.

One day when she's walking home from school, she notices a moving truck in the driveway of the house next to Braden's. That's when she meets Alex Schrider.

Alex annoys Delaney at first, then she learns why he moved here after all.

Soon, Delaney and Alex get closer. Delaney finally lets Alex in.

Then, things happen between Delaney and Alex. The connection deepens, and gets lost. And then, just when things could get any worse, something happens to Alex that Delaney would never forgive herself for if she lost him for good. Delaney becomes Alex's only hope of survival.

Your smile
Shone as bright as the midday sun
The sky
Looked dull compared to your eyes

I don't think I've ever liked goodbye so much before

Your voice,
It caught me at "Hello"
And you
Tied me up when you laughed
And finally,
Just before I got away,
You had me at "Goodbye"

You are
The definition of "I love you"
And I'm the one
That can't stop reading the dictionary
I know you're hurt,
But I promise that I will never leave

Your voice,
It caught me at "Hello"
And you
Tied me up when you laughed
And finally,
Just before I got away,
You had me at "Goodbye"

I don't think
That I've ever heard a sweeter voice
Or anyone as perfect as you
I'm starting to love goodbye

Your voice,
It caught me at "Hello"
And you
Tied me up when you laughed
And finally,
Just before I got away,
You had me at "Goodbye"
You had me at "Goodbye"
Never heard anything sweeter
You had me...
Goodbye...

(I own all of the characters, and I wrote Alex's song. So if you try to find it on iTunes, it won't be there. Sorry.)
