"No problem. I've been dying for them to tour again."
"You just had to drag me along, right?"
"Yeah, totally. You had to be bound, gagged and tortured for me to get you here."

Saturday. Finally, a day to sleep in, and not do anything but--

Why the hell is my phone ringing? Unless--shit! Jane!
I race to answer the phone before the machine does, nearly killing myself with the sheets.
"Hello?" I say, breathlessly.
"Hey, Skye?"
...Blake?!?
"Blake?" My tone echoed my thoughts.
"Uhm...yes?"
"Why on Earth are you calling me at 10:30 on a Saturday morning?"
"Because...I...wanted to talk to you?"
I sighed.
"Okay, so talk."
"Alrighty, then, I just wanted to say that last night was a lot of fun."
Uh oh. I think I know where this is going.
"Yeah...it was."
Tread carefully now. Do not get his hopes up.
"Really? That's kind of why i was calling. You looked kind of...sober."
I smirk, "Why was I supposed to be drunk? Blake...did you drug me?"
I said it in my most teasing chastising voice.
But he smiled, I could hear it in his voice.
"No it's just...I'm not exactly sure. I guess I'm just...never mind. Forget it."
"Already forgotten."
It was quiet for a second.
"So, Blake, I was wondering...."
"Yeah?" He sounded hopeful. Well, sorry to burst your bubble, but....
"Well, what happened...between you...and Lacey?"
He was quiet for so long, I honestly thought he hung up.
Shit, what if he hates me now? Why is this so much more complicated then our friendship was?
"Blake, are you still there? I'm sorry, that was personal. You don't have to answer. Just forget I said anything, okay?"
"No, it's alright. How about you meet me at the park in, say, ten minutes? I'll tell you then."
"Oh, uhm, okay. Be there in ten. Bye."
