William and Angela woke up the next morning cuddled on the small bed. Angela tried to sit up but William had his hand around her waist constraining her to being close to him. For some reason, she couldn’t help but laugh at how adorable he was asleep. She laid back down and began to ponder what had happened after they kissed the night before.

While Angela pondered what happened, William couldn’t help but grin that he had the girl of his dreams in his arms. He remembered exactly what had happened the night before after they kissed.

“Wow” they said at the same time after less than a minute of their simple kiss. They looked into each other’s eyes trying to decipher what the other was thinking.

“I’m not psychic so tell me what you’re thinking,” she whispered.

“I was just thinking about how right it felt to kiss you and wondering why I didn’t try it before.” he answered as he pulled her against his chest.

“I didn’t expect it to feel that way,” she replied against his chest.

“Neither did I.” he said.

They did their best to lie down comfortably on the tiny bed. The only way fitting on the bed was possible was if there was no space between them as they lay down, not that either of them minded. William took hold of Angela’s hand again feeling how cold it was against his which was perfectly warm. His thumb drew imaginary lines across hers and she couldn’t help but smile.

“You’re making me sleepy Bill,”

“Then go to sleep, love, we have all tomorrow to talk.” he smiled at how perfect the moment felt.

“But it feels so perfect right now and I don’t want it to end.” answered closing her eyes.

“I know, I don’t either.” he said before kissing her again. Angela was surprised by William’s lips upon hers but kissed by without thinking. William couldn’t even remember how long they stayed that way until they fell asleep in each other’s arms.
“Why are you smiling?” Angela’s voice cut through his thoughts.

“I’m thinking about waking up with you in my arms and how perfect it is to be with you last night.”

“Too bad we can’t stay in bed all morning, huh?”

“What if we say someone kidnapped us into this room?” he suggested with a grin.

“No, we’re visiting your friends today Bill. I doubt us being kidnapped would be good news to anyone.” she giggled back.

“I’m surprised we fit on my bed. It’s not exactly the most comfortable one either.”

“Well, at least I got to spend the night with you and you didn’t hurt your back by sleeping on the floor,” she replied looking at the bright side.

“Very true, love.”

“Since when do you start calling me that?” she asked as she sat up.

“After you started calling me Bill,”

“But that’s so couple like!”

“Aren’t we supposed to be a couple?” he asked.

“Yes we are but are pet names really necessary?”

“Hmm,” he said thinking about it. “Yes.”

“I guess if you say so,” she said before she got off the bed and went to the bathroom to get ready.

William wasn’t sure what to think as he got ready. He wanted so much more than the friendship they had back home. Heck, he was writing more because of her, and any girl who inspired him to write music, was the one for him. Now he just wanted to know if he actually she felt the same way about him.
