Two years after his being overthrown by Jakob, rumours of Mendax returning are rife on Caji. Determind to protect Caji, Casper and Mog organise training for cats on how to deal with attacks from the ex-dictator.But when they are called to a hospital, they see the extent of his evil first hand in a Caji he has cursed. But the curse is just the begining, and Casper and Mog soon realise that the fight against Mendax will be a long and difficult one.
