Me and My Scars

I tear my heart open,
I sew myself shut,
my weakness is that I care too much,
and our scars remind us that the past is real,
I tear my heart open just to feel.

Everybody has a song. For me it was Scars, but then again I had a lot going on at the time. I mean I lost my dad ,saw my mom put away for life in a mental hospital,I was sent to an orphanage,and so much more.I believe that the truth needs to be told no matter the situation. So you better believe that I'm gonna tell it.
