Katrina just wanted a taste of what everyone else her age had: love—that reckless and all-encompassing passion which nearly every teenager seems to find at least once during the course of high school. It had been withheld from her all her life, and she just wanted her share. She just wanted a taste; it seemed harmless enough.
She got the taste she’d always craved, but it led to an addiction which proved to be her expulsion from Eden.
