Monday I sat in history I actually liked history it was interesting and even though it wasn’t totally useful it helped us not make the same mistakes those before us made. Plus it was the only class I had with Oliver
“So for your new assignments you will be working in pairs and researching a ancient civilization of your choice….but as usual I will be picking your pairs cause if I don’t all hell will break lose in the class room” our teacher gave out our task
As much as I hated to admit it all hell probably would break out. Your teacher went along assigning pairs
“Amy and Michael, Lacey and Oliver” I think I chocked on nothing when he said that
“But Sir. You can’t put Lacey with that…like what are you thinking look at him his filthy and eww” Brittany protested pointing to his lip ring whilst I secretly gave Oliver an apologetic smile mouthing the word ‘sorry’
“Miss McAllen and Miss Carter you will be assigned with who I chose, so Miss Carter meet Mr. Sykes”
Once everyone had their partner we moved to sit next to each other and start this assignment.
“Im sorry” I said once we were seated and ready to work
“Yea yea whatever” he retorted
“I really am Oli she shouldn’t talk to you like that”
“Its Oliver” he said coldly
“Oh whatever you have stuck up your ass get it out now so we can do this stupid assignment” I didn’t know what I had done but gosh he had something up his ass today.
The one day I was kind of excited to see him hang on I can’t be thinking this its not right I mean he is Oli Sykes Oliver I made a mental correction plus I had a boyfriend god I had forgotten about him.
But I was snapped out of my thoughts by a smile spreading across Oliver’s face and I had to sigh at his perfection.
“So what do you want to do this assignment on?” he asked
“Egypt Ancient Egyptians” I said I loved Egyptians I know im strange.
We made it through the lesson with no big dramas a little bickering from the both of us about childish topics. We decided that I would go over his house tomorrow afternoon to finish off our project, I was determined not to go to my house for reasons I would not tell Oli but really if he thought the reaction Brittany had towards him was bad he should meet my mother.

“Mum im home I have a friend with me we need to finish our assignment” Oli yelled entering his house.
His house was quite small compared to my own but still really cute and almost cottage like it actually felt like a home unlike mine.
His mum entered the room and greeted me
“Oh my aren’t you pretty” she said adoringly and both Oli and I blushed
“Mum this is my friend Lacey” he introduced
“Pleased to meet you dear” she had the accent as well
“Mum were going to my room to learn about the Egyptians” he laughed before dragging me up the few stairs to his room
We lay out on his bed facing each other with a few books lying around us we kept getting distracted by each other.
“Can I ask you something?” Oli asked
“Umm yea” I wasn’t sure where this was going
“Why were you so determined that we didn’t go to your house?” he asked and I sighed looking down
“If I tell, you im scared you might hate me” I said glumly
“Im not sure that’s quite possible but please tells me”
I sighed again before answering
“You saw Brittany’s reaction in class…that is minor compared to the reaction my mother would have had if she saw you”
“Oh so…” I cut him off
“It’s not that im ashamed of being friends with you or anything but I don’t want my mum bagging on you plus you don’t know my family”
I then stopped mid sentence as Oliver’s hand reached for my check as we both sat up a bit getting closer and closer by the second before he pressed his lips to mine in a lustful and passionate kiss, pushing me back a little so that he was now lying on me one hand still on my check while the other was roaming up the inside of my shirt my hands were tangled in his hair. We were cut off by someone’s foot steps racing up the stairs yelling
“Oli”
We quickly pulled apart but obviously we were too late
“Wow sorry” said a male’s voice
“Tom get out” Oli yelled letting go of me.
Now it was slightly awkward and we decided to make our way downstairs
“Hey im sorry” Tom said coming face to face with us
“Its okay” I replied I recognized this kid from school Oli’s younger brother
“Wow your Lacey what are you doing with my brother?” he asked a little shocked at the pairing
“Please don’t say anything…not yet I don’t want the school to know” I retorted and Tom nodded
“Are you going out?” he asked a little bewilder
I bit my lip and shrugged my shoulders a little as Oliver continued to look at his feet
“I better get going were practically done our assignment so ill just see you tomorrow” I commented saying bye to both Tom and Mrs. Sykes before showing myself to the front door, Oli still standing in the same place looking at his feet like they held the answers to the world.
Oli’s POV
“Oli say something” Tom yelled at me
I didn’t know what to say I liked Lacey a lot but it couldn’t possibly work between us we were from two totally different places. I was hated by her friends and she had a boyfriend. But I couldn’t stay away from her she seemed to creep into my mind all the time and I hated that, she was intriguing and I had, had a lot of girl friends but none ever seemed to get under my skin like Lacey had in the past week or so.
“I don’t know what to say Tom” I said finally looking up and shrugging my shoulders before I walked back to my room.
