Giving In

"Jasper!" I yell as I ran further into the forest.
Where was he?

"Looking for someone?" A deep voice asked. I turn around, there was no one.

"Who's there?" I call out. I couldn't recall who was near me. I didn't feel anyone around me.

The man laughed, "Your powers are useless to me. I'm one of you."
I turned around, the man stood before me. I backed away.

"Don't be scared. Why, it seems you trust a blood-sucker more than you trust a fellow slayer," He grabbed my arms.
"Jasper!" I screamed.
"He can't you hear you! Look I am not going to hurt you, unless I have to, I am here to help you learn. Now tell me why you have comfort in vampires, Carlisle isn't the one to be teaching you," He says as he loosens his grip on me, "Sorry, by the way, names Sebastian and your name is Priyanka, that I know."
"H-how do you know the Cullen's?" I asked confused.
"Oh, it goes way back. Now tell me," He says as he sits down on a log. He takes out a pocket knife and sharpens a wooden stake.
My body goes cold.
"So, the wooden stakes aren't a myth?" I ask as i sit next to him, eager to learn something.
He rolls his eyes and keeps sharpening his stake.

"The Cullen's are very kind people, they don't cause harm." I try to convince him.
"You do not understand," He sighs. "It doesn't matter who is good or bad, you can't be friends with vampires."
I don't say anything after this.
"Okay, we'll meet back here tomorrow at 10:00 am, you must learn how to fight and by tomorrow afternoon, you will know all that you need to know," He stands and shakes my hand, "Nice meeting you," And with that, he is gone.

"Pree, where were you?" Jasper asks as he runs towards me.
"I was here..." I said, confused.
"Well, I beat you anyways," He smirks.

"Seems like your mom left a note," Jasper said from my kitchen.
"What does it say?" I yell back as I put my pajamas on.
"Says; We will be back by the latest Monday, Love you, Mom and Dad. Hey, are you almost done?" I turn around and he was right there.
"Yeah, your lucky I am ready," I lay down on my bed and Jasper covers me.
"Goodnight, Pree, I will come by tomorrow," He says softly and kissed my forehead lightly.

I smiled.
Then frowned, "I thought your going to stay with me tonight."
"Oh, Pree," He trails a hand down my back. He leans in, his lips barely touching my neck. All of the sudden I felt...I wanted him.
"Jasper, stop playing with my emotions, that's not fair. It's weird too actually." I get up and move away, my face burning.
"I didn't do anything to your emotions," I hear him say, struggling not to laugh. I look up and he has a satisfied smirk on his face.
How embarrassing.
