Brian: so what did you and Johnny...

Melly: come on Brian. I would never have crazy hardcore sweaty dirty sex.

He shook his head. Eyes closed trying not to get an image in his head.

Melly: I would wait till your gone. Duh.

I laughed at his reaction.

Melly: I'm kidding cus. I'm kidding.

Brian ran his hand down his long face.

Melly: you know you're really beautiful.

Brian: what?

He asked thrown off.

Melly: you're beautiful. Did you not hear me.

Brian: I did. That's just, what?

He shook his head.

Melly: I bet you could have been a model.

He smiled.

Brian: I still can.

Melly: not with all those tats. Can't believe you wasted those high cheek bones on guitar playing.

Brian: well ya know. Had I not started guitar I'd be Americas next top model.

We both laughed.

Brian: are you feelin' better?

Melly: I haven't been sick.

Brian: but you've looked upset about something.

Melly: I've just had shit on my mind is all.

Brian: like what? You can talk to me.

Melly: I just got this issue.

Brian: what kind of issue?

Melly: its a girl issue.

Brian: a girl issue like, Johnny likes you and you like Johnny. Cause I already know that. Everybody does.

Melly: but you hate-

He rolled his eyes.

Brian: whatever cus. I've got to, I'm the older one.

Melly: right.

Brian: you're lucky.

Melly: why?

Brian: because you guys don't have to say it. You both just know.

He shrugged.

Brian: that doesn't happen everyday.

Melly: I guess not.

He smiled. Johnny was up in my room still asleep. Jenn was up to something. Like she ususally is.

Zacky: what up you two?

I cringed at his smooth voice. Looking away so as to prepare myself to look at him.

Brian: just trying to have a conversation but thanks for disrupting.

Zacky: no problem.

Brian: ass. So what brings ya here?

Zacky: Johnny never came home.

I finally made eye contact. He smirked a bit. I just gave a nod.

Brian: and?

Zacky: oh right. Yeah he just never came home.

He shrugged.

Brian: and are you looking for him? Concerned? What?

Zacky: I was just saying.

Brian rolled his eyes at his friend.

Brian: so you came all the way here to tell us that?

Zacky: umm yeah.

Brian: really?

Melly: wow.

Brian: you couldn't have just like called or texted me that?

Zacky: oh. I suppose I could have huh.

He laughed a bit. My cousin shook his head.

Melly: he's your friend.

Brian: psh. I guess.

Jenn: Zacky? What the fuck are you doing here?

Melly: he came to tell us Johnny never came home.

She made a face.

Jenn: you couldn't have called?

Brian: that's what I said. Wait...what's with all the bags? Oh! Are we going some where?!

He asked excited and jumping to his feet. Jenn laughed a bit.

Jenn: I am.

Brian: where are we going!?

Jenn: like I said, I am going somewhere.

Brian's face fell.

Brian: what do you mean you?

Jenn: I told you boo boo. Last week that I was going to Arizona for a few days.

Brian: no. No you didn't.

Jenn: its written on every calender in the house.

Brian: I don't look at those.

Me and Zacky exchanged amused looks. Being at peace with him for a few seconds. My eyes quickly darted away from his alluring ones. Jenn sighed.

Jenn: I'm going to Arizona.

Brian: why can't I go?

Jenn: because someone has to stay with Melly.

Brian: she could have stayed at Matt's.

Jenn: and be alone with Johnny?

Brian: we could take her with us.

Jenn: I just didn't want to go with you.

He looked offended. She shrugged.

Jenn: sorry.

Brian: is Jimmy going?

Jenn: no. My cats down there don't like him.

Brian: they like me...

Jenn: its just a few days boo boo. To see the grandparents.

He huffed and crossed his arms.

Brian: whatever. I don't see what the big deal is. Your grandparents love me...and your cats.

He rambled under his breath.

Melly: don't worry cus we can have some quality family time together.

Jenn: are you gonna take me to the airport or what Brian.

He grumbled.

Melly: have fun Jenn.

Zacky: tell your grandparents we all say hey.

She smiled and said goodbye.

Brian: be back in a bit.

They were gone. I carefully let my eyes wander to him. He was lounging comfortably on the couch. Eyes boring into me. I knew he was trying to get some kind of rise out of me.

Melly: how are you Zacky?

I asked non-chantly.

Zacky: alright and yourself?

Melly: fine. Seen any good zombie movies?

Zacky: no. Have you?

Melly: no.

I sighed unhappy.

Melly: I am however excited for Resident Evil five.

Zacky: me too. Looks so good.

Melly: hell yeah. Hell yeah. Oh I finally played that Left for Dead game.

Zacky: and?

Melly: amazing!

Zacky: isn't it! That game is so fucking good.

Silence. My eyes looked around the room.

Zacky: nice try.

Melly: excuse me?

Zacky: avoiding the topic.

Melly: I've no idea what your talking about.

I turned my face away from him. Wishing Jimmy or Johnny would come walking down the stairs.

Zacky: I'm sure you don't. So quick lips...

I shot him a glare.

Zacky: when are you going to tell your boyfriend your kissing another man?

I twisted my face to look bitter.

Zacky: you gotta let him know. The longer you wait the worse it gets. Johnny's got a little temper on him.

Melly: why are you being like this? Creating drama?

Zacky: I'm not doing it intentionally, it just so happens two people took intrest in the same person.

Melly: if you're so interested in this person, why wouldn't you just try to get to know them. Be friends. What you're doing is driving them into disgust with you.

Zacky: maybe so but that person can't have one day without me in they're head.

Melly: whatever.

Zacky: you can't. I'm always around. When you look at your cousin, Jenn, Johnny...I'll always be there. Cause we are all a part of each other.

He was right and I hated it.

Melly: why? This is so fucked up Zacky.

Zacky: because right from the get go, I was told to stay away.

Melly: and you listened because why?

Zacky: I tried with you but you ignored me.

Melly: not true. You never really spoke to me.

Zacky: your cousin doesn't like the idea of us ever becoming friends.

Melly: what's so bad about you? Tell me. Why do they look down on you?

He gave me a good long hard look.

Zacky: I don't know. I never really noticed before.

Melly: is it cause you sleep around?

He grinned.

Zacky: that could be.

Melly: is it cause you are a sleeze. Telling girls you hardly know they should be pole dancers.

Zacky: that can be added to the list.

Melly: or the fact you can't trust your intoxicated self around someone.

He glanced behind me.

Zacky: I told you. Johnny is not the only one who digs you.

He leaned forward. His eyes looking at me.

Zacky: you're beautiful.

The room felt extreamly small. Like it was the only part of the house. I'm confused. I'm pretty sure this guy is just fucking with me to piss everyone off. Cause that's all it seems like he likes to do.

Melly: thank you.

My brows were furrowed.

Zacky: everyone thinks so.

Melly: you must be bi-polar.

He laughed.

Zacky: why is that?

Melly: your an ass, then quiet, then nice, then tolerable, then just weird.

Zacky: I like to keep people on their toes.

Melly: I guess.

He leaned back again. We stayed silent. Exchanging glances and faces. For what felt like hours. Todd came and went when no one aknowledged him.

Brian: I'm home.

I snapped my eyes away from his pale skinned body.

Brian: Johnny up yet? Its like nine.

Melly: no.

Brian: everything cool?

Zacky: yeah everythings just fine. What are you two gonna do without Jenn?

Brian: I don't know.

He shrugged. Being lured away from the strange atmosphere of the room.

Melly: quality family time.

Brian: sure. I'm hungry.

Melly: let me go make breakfast. I'm gonna assume you're staying Zack.

Zacky: you assume right miss.

I lathargically went into the kitchen. Grabbing eggs and such breakfast items. I dropped an egg at the feel of hands running across the skin of my lower stomach. The light laugh let me relax a bit.

Melly: you scared me.

Johnny: I can tell, you dropped breakfast on the floor.

Melly: I thought you were someone else.

I could literally hear him frown.

Brian: who the fuck else would touch you like that?
