We All Roll Along

Finally after sitting there staring at the bus door for about ten minutes Amanda decides to go out. She slips on her flip flops and walks out the door.

When she gets outside the humid air hits her skin, it's dark and looks as though it's about to storm she zips her hoodie up and walks towards to the venue.

She needs to find Kelly, so she texts her.
A few seconds later she replies and she heads over to where she is.

"Hey Kelz. What's up?"

"What's wrong?"

"What do you mean what's wrong? Does it seem like something's wrong?"

"Uh yeah! You sound like you about to cry."

"Well that's because I am." she looks down at the floor and pretends to kick something.

"Why?"

"Because I just pissed Garrett off like tremendously and now he probably hates me and never wants to speak to me ever again!"

"Wait! What?! What happend?"

"Well..."

Amanda tells her the whole story.
And when she's done Kelly has a perculiar look on her face.

"Well?"

"I can't believe that happend."

"How can you not believe that happen?"

"Well I just can't, I figured you would've just hung out with him. I didn't think my relationship status with Kennedy was that vital to you."

"It is! Because you've liked him for how long now? I'm just super excited is all."

"Oh."

*awkward slilence*

"What do you want me to do!?!"

"I don't know! Give me a moment to think,woman!"

"Sorry."

Kelly looks up at the ceiling for a few moments.

"Okay well first of all you need to go talk to him."

"He won't want to and I don't know what to say."

"Ugh! Do I have to everthing for you!"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean am I going to have to go talk to him for you?"

"That would be very nice of you."

"Yeah, I know."

She smiles at her and hugs her. "Thanks so much, Kelly! I love you so much!"

"You should considering I'm giving up time I could be with Kennedy to fix your problems."

"Aww you are a good friend."

she sighs. "Yeah, I know."

Kelly walks away from Amanda as she spots Garrett sitting at a table.

"Hey Garrett! What's up?"

"Hey...and nothing."

"What's wrong?"

"Oh nothing. Hm besides Amanda being totally not into me."

"Yeah I head. I'm sorry,babe. But you took it the wrong way."

"How?"

"Well she wanted to hang out with you but apparently me getting with Kenny was epic to her. Which it kinda is but still she should've hung out with you. Because you are awesome and you guys are best friends too."

"I know, which is why it didn't seem right."

"Yeah, I know."

"So you have no idea either?"

"None. She just wanted me to patch things up, but I'm at a loss for words because I have no clue why she blew you off."

"Well you tried to patch it up."

"Mhm."

"Do you want to hang out with me? It would make my day so much better."
He smiles at her.

"Hmm let me think about it."

"Pwease!"
He gives her a pouty face.

"Okay!"

He jumps up and hugs her. "Yay!"

"So what do you want to do? We can't really hang outside though because it's raining."

"So rain party?!"

"Uhm okay!"

He grabs her by the arm and they go out in the rain.

Amanda sees this and immediately gets confused.
She texts Kelly.

'Wht's gng on? I thght u were patching thngs up?'

She replies:

'Well let's just say I'm confsd + right now, I jst wnt Garrett hppy. Srry :['

Amanda slips her phone into her back pocket and slumps over to find Paul.
