We All Roll Along
Seventeen.
Garrett's eyes snapped open and he instantly sat up.
He saw Kennedy sleeping in the seat in front of him.
Garrett decides to shake him awake.
"What?" Kennedy says in a groggy voice.
"Was Amanda here in the van last night?"
"No, why?"
"Because I could've sworn she came back with me last night."
"Well you're crazy. Me and John had to carry you back to the van last night after you fell asleep in the BLG tour bus."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah man, why?"
"No reason."
He falls back down and puts his hand to his head and closes his eyes again. He checks his phone. No lovey dovey texts.
'Was last night just a dream?'
He gets up and puts his shoes on. He runs into the venue building and finds Kelly.
"Kelly!"
"Garrett!"
"Did me and Amanda start dating last night?"
"Not that I know of,why?"
"Because I could've sworn Paul caught me and Amanda making out and he said I could have her. And we started dating."
"Really? Because you came back to the van,alone. Asleep. And I'm pretty sure Amanda and Paul are still dating. As you can tell." she points behind her.
Garrett sees Amanda sitting in Paul's lap.
"You mean to tell me. All that was just a dream."
"Sounds like it to me,darling."
"Ugh!"
"What?"
"I thought it was real. Everything was perfect."
"Well that's dreams for you."
"So did we even realy hang out yesterday?"
"Yeah, you two went back to the bus to watch a movie."
"Well at least that much was true."
"Yeah, and I heard you made out. But after that you must've went to sleep."
"I guess."
"Don't worry,Garrett it will come true someday."
"Thanks."
Just then he feels a tap on his shoulder.
It's Amanda.
"Hey."
"Oh hey."
"So last night was fun,right?"
"Def. Your kisses are very nice."
"Haha. Thanks but don't tell Paul. Please."
"I won't. I just enjoyed it. No one has to know."
"You are too cute. But I really do love you."
She gives him a hug.
"I love you too."
He kisses her on the cheek.
She smiles.
"Can we watch another movie tonight?"
Garrett smiles really big.
"Most def, my dear."
