We All Roll Along

It didn't take Amanda long to find Kelly. Her and Garrett were by the venue door. Garrett had his arms around Kelly and his head on her shoulders.

"What's wrong, Garrett?"

"Get away from me!"

He pushes her away and pulls Kelly closer.

"Um, he really doesn't want to talk right now. If you need something from me just tell me later when we are working."

"Okay. See ya."

She turns around and goes back into the venue with a odd look on her face.

Paul sees her and runs up to her.

"Wha'ts up, baby?"

"Uh Garrett's acting really wierd. When I said hi to him, he told me to go away from him."

"Really? Why would Gary do that?"

"Don't call him that! And I don't know. Maybe it has something to do with yesterday?"

"More than likely, but I thought you got to the bottom of that?"

"I thought so too, but I guess not."

She hangs her head down.

"Don't let it get you down. Besides Kelly will tell you anyway,right?"

"Maybe. She's been acting strange lately too."

"Really? And you have no idea?"

"No. It scares me how distant my best friends are becoming."

"I'm sure it's nothing. Don't worry and if they stop being your friend then they are obviously not right for you."

"No, we've been friends since we were like born."

"So there's no secrets, you've got nothing to worry about. I've been trying to tell you that."

"Yeah. You're right. I just need to stop thinking about it so much."

"Yup. Now let me take your mind off of it."

He leans in and kisses her.

"Hmm that certainly helps. May I have some more,sir?"

"More? Well of course"

He kisses her again. Then Amanda feels someone tapping her shoulder.

It's John.

"Oh uh hey John!"

"Hey, why aren't you setting up?"

"Uh I was told not to because Garrett was going to help Kelly."

"Garrett help Kelly?"

"Yeah, pretty strange, huh?"

"Very. Well alright then. But you still work for me."

"I know."

He gives her a stern look and turns and walks away.

"Sorry about him, he's determined to keep me his merch labor."

"Haha. Why?"

"Because he doesn't have to pay family friends. Some weird policy he came up with."

"Oh well I can see why he wants to keep you."

"Yeah..." she rolls her eyes.

"But I would keep you anyway because you are so darn cute!"

He hugs her tightly. And kisses her on the cheek.

"Well I'm glad you like me."

"Hah. I gotta go do soundcheck. But you should come watch to give me something to look at and get distracted by."

"Haha. Alright, if you insist."

****OUTSIDE THE VENUE*****

Garrett still had his face buried in Kelly's shoulder.

"W-w-w-w-whyyyyyyyyy did they have to be doing that?"

"It could be worse, they could have been having sex like right there, you know."

"Yeah, but still. It hurts. I hate Paul."

"Don't hate him. He's oblivious to your love for her. Remember?"

"Yeah, but it still makes me want to rip his face off."

"Ehh well that would be pretty brutal."

"I don't care. I just don't want to see anymore of that. Protect my heart Kelly! Protect it!"

"Okay,okay! Keep you're undies on. I'll try my best."

"Thanks, I love you bestie!"

"I love you too. You know you say that alo lately."

"Well I have to show my appretiation somehow. You're really helping me cope with this."

"Aww you're welcome,bestie!"

She hugs him tightly.

"Ugh I'm hungry. You want to get something to eat?"

"Of course. We can steal the van and go get alot of food for ourselves and not share with John or anyone else."

"Bahaha. You read my mind!"

They hopped in the van and drove to get something to eat.
