The Perfect Smile

Maddy yawned and placed her book down on the nightstand and crawled under her covers and pulled them up over her body. It was so peaceful and quiet, she was looking forward to a good nights sleep. She was also looking forward to only having to work six hours tomorrow. She closed her eyes and waited for sleep to take over her body

The Joker yawned realizing that he was getting pretty sleepy. He closed his eyes and waited for sleep to take over his form, only it didn't. Instead he opened his eyes at the sound of alarms. Someone was attempting to either break out or break in, and since no one was really stupid enough to break in to a crazy house he figured someone was breaking out. Fools. He laughed a bit, and then noticed the door knob on his very own room started to turn. Then a loud shot filled the air, and the door was kicked open. In walked a woman dressed in a green dress with long red hair. Was she breaking him out? Who was she?

Ivy: I'm Poison... Ivy, and we need to get the hell out of here.

She said as she ran over and undid his straight jacket. He stretched and followed her out of the room and saw that she had also broke out Two Face and the Penguin. Two Face only looked at The Joker with hatred in his eyes, still clearly blaming him for the death of Joker.

Ivy: WE'VE GOT BIGGER FISH TO FRY, NOW LET'S MOVE.

She demanded running through the chaotic hallways of Arkham. She was quiet and sneaky as she walked through the hallways. No wonder she got in so easily. The Alarms didn't even go off until she attempted to break the Joker out, who had a bit higher security than anyone else. The four criminals rushed out of Arkham and down a dark pathway that lead to a van. The three men got inside as the woman in green got in the drivers side and pulled out on her way to the "Hideout" that the Riddler had arranged for them all to meet up.

Since they all knew Batman would show up to try to keep all the criminals behind the Arkham walls, Catwoman was waiting for him. As she saw him descent from a building top next door she showed herself.

"Batman" she said in a purring tone as she took out her whip and snapped it his way. Soon the two of them was in a back and forth battle. Chasing each other around the Alley. She was a good distraction, once she heard sirens fill the air she disappeared into the night hoping that Ivy done her job. She was now on her way back to the hideout, hoping she had lost Batman along the way.

The Riddler sneaked in through a window. He was now inside Joe Hudson's office in his home, looking around trying to find any information about Eddie he could. He had inside links telling him that Eddie was after each and every criminal, and he also had a inside link that he had a doctor from Arkham on his side. So when The Riddler saw Joe leaving Eddie's Mansion he put two and two together and figured it was the doctor. The riddler traced over the pictures of a pretty blond woman that was on his desk. Pictures of the girl was scattered everywhere. He just assumed she was a gold digger that he was fucking, until he came across a Christmas picture and the frame said "Dad, I love you." with a picture of the blond and Joe. A daughter, and what a beautiful daughter. He said with a smirk. He wondered what Joe's beautiful little daughter would think when he took her father hostage.

He sneakily walked out of his office and down the hallway peeking in each and every room trying to find his bedroom. Once he came across a manish room he peeked inside, it was a bedroom and apparently Joe's since he had paperwork everywhere on a desk that had his name on it. Hmm, not home. The Riddler thought. He exited the room and walked down the hallway a bit further, he could be in another room..

He opened a white door and peeked in seeing pink covers and then blond hair. Smiling devilishly he had another idea. What's more important to Joe than anything? His lovely daughter. She'll do just as well he thought making his way over to her bed.

Maddy heard something creeking in the distance so she opened her eyes. She always was a light sleeper. When she opened them her eyes budged out of her head seeing a man in a green jumpsuit with question marks on it, and red flaming hair standing in her bedroom.

Riddler: Oh sleeping princess is awake!

He said walking towards her. She tried to move out of the bed but he was much to fast for that. He reached over taking a cloth from behind him and placed it on her face. Maddy soon began to feel very week, and very sleepy. Her eyes fell back in her head and she fell into unconsciousness. He laughed a bit as he pulled her body out of the bed and tossed her over his shoulder. Only after leaving Joe a little riddle laying on his desk revealing exactly who took his daughter. He needed to get back to the hideout before the others.

Finally Ivy pulled up to a old beat down building. The Joker stepped out behind Penguin and didn't exactly know why he was here, but he was ready for anything. Especially with Two face being in the same area as himself. He looked over and saw a very dark figure walking towards the group of them. She had cat ears, Catwoman he thought to himself as he laughed walking into the building. What was this tea time?

When the five of them walked inside the building a man in a green jumpsuit was already standing there with a horrid smile plastered on his face.

Riddler: Nice to see all of you, now have a seat, I'm sure you have questions.

The Riddler filled in each and every one of them of all the information he knew. He told them that the best chance to take down the mob was to band together. Although The Joker insisted he worked along.

Riddler: Yes, you work alone. Alone trapped in Arkham if it wasn't for us.

He spat out and continued on with his plan. He did make sense though. The Joker thought. With both The Mob and the cops gunning for them, not to mention Batman it was a rough time for criminals.

Riddler: Not to mention Dr. Hudson at the asylum is corrupt.
Joker: Excuse me?
Riddler: He works for Eddie, but don't worry I'm taking care of him.

The Joker laughed, not really believing that such a man as Joe was working for the mob. He didn't seem like the type of man to work for the mob. But The Riddler did say he had him taken care of, The Joker couldn't help but wonder how exactly he was taking care of Joe? He couldn't help but think about Madeline and how she would probably be heart broken if something happened to her father, but that didn't matter to him.. he didn't care about her.

After discussing more of the plan everyone agreed to be apart of it, and then each of them departed from the hideout to go and do their own thing. They was going to meet up at this place once every two days at the same time so they knew exactly where there plan was going.

The Joker headed down the dark alleys until he came to a parked Jeep. He got inside and hot wired it and then took off near his old hideout hoping that each of his men were the waiting for him, and not out at some strip joint. He parked it outside the hideout and walked up the old wooden steps, shoving open the front door to the hideout he growled out their names. Four or five guys came running down the stairs.

"BOSS!"

They all yelled in unison as The Joker just looked at each and everyone of them knowing just how pathetic they was. He'd been in Arkham for days and they hadn't even attempted to break him out. What the hell was wrong with them? Had their balls falling out.

Joker: Well boys. You see, I'm very pissed.
Glen: What's wrong boss?
Joker: A woman busted me out of Arkham, a fucking woman when I had plenty of men here to do that job. So I've decided to cut my team in half. Try outs.

He said and looked towards each and every one of the men. They knew that in order to stay alive they was going t have to kill each other.

Maddy moved her head in a circular motion and opened her eyes. She had finally woken up and when she did she couldn't help but notice the headache she had. She looked around and realized she wasn't in her bedroom but rather a old beaten room with wall paper coming off the walls, and old wooden furniture. She was about to question why she was here but then she remembered the man in the green jump suit. She looked up seeing the door knob turn and then the man walked in.

Riddler: Oh Goody, Princess is up!

He mocked walking towards her.

Riddler: How ya feeling?
Maddy: Who are you?
Riddler: Why I'm the Riddler, of course!

She just shook her head in confusion, and then she remembered hearing something about him. He was the guy who always left Riddles behind each crime which give people an idea of where he was going to strike next. She just wasn't putting two and two together though, why was she here?

Maddy: Why am I here?
Riddler: Oh, you'll find out in due time dear, due time.

He said and with that he left the room, she heard the door being locked. She sighed and scooted herself over in a corner and pulled her knees up to her chest. She couldn't help but start to cry, she didn't understand any of this. Why was she here? Why did the Riddler want her? Why was he in her house? How did she fit into any of his plans? She just couldn't understand anything, nothing made sense to her! She just wished someone, anyone would come and save her!
